I hated that she sang her name last night while signing that song....did anyone else catch that???

I know, I was like what is she doing?

I still think Dilana is going to win, though. She has the ability to wow the band everytime, and apparantly the viewers too because she's never even been in the bottom 3 at one time. And last season JD offended a lot of people with his comments but INXS still picked him. Dilana is by no means my favorite contestant ( I am all for Storm and Magni), but I do think there is a good chance that she will be the one who wins.

Tonites show was good. I thought everyone did great. I have decided that I do not think that Gilby wants a woman-He always picks on one of the girls until they are gone & then moves to the next one. he is slowly picking them off.

Tonight's episode was great though I think they give to much tv time to Dilana. It's kind of obvious that SuperNova is going to send home Storm next.

Holy hand grenades...what a show!

I was blown away by everyone (well, Lukas BLOWS if that counts too).

My two cents, take it or leave it:

Lukas: Better without the makeup. Still has ZERO personality (when he isn't singing). I don't enjoy his sound, the growling is LAME. He's a skinny brooding punk. Not an awful version, though I'm sorry I never got to see Dilana do it. I just don't want this guy winning. Color me thrilled when I saw the prelim bottom 3.

Magni: Be still my heart! I just adore him. Great repoire with the guys and the audience. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. In fact, I'm downloading it onto my ipod right now.

Ryan: Darkhorse my shiney hiney...this guy can perform! He gets better every time he's out there. He reinvents himself. I LOVED this performance. Another one for my ipod!

Storm: Navarro is right...I loved this perfor,mance too. But I think TOBY is what made it so awesome. I really loved this "duet", or whatever. I DID love Storm's passion and performance, but methinks she might be the one to get booted tomorrow. I like her...what a shame.

Toby: Blimey mate, you're growing on me! I would just love to hang with Toby. he seems like a friggin blast. If I were on the show, I bet Toby and I would be buds. I dig his sense of humor. Now onto his song...I really dug his whole thing tonight. He was so comfy on the stage. I actually stood up and clapped when he yanked the ladies onto the stage. He was working the corwd and all (I bet he gets some tail tonight). Vocally it was alright, but it was power packed and fun! Rock ain't all about melody.

Dilana: I was starting to lose the "D" love but tonight she brought it back. Angry and kicking!

So who do I wan the bottom 3 to be? Storm, Lukas, maybe Toby

And while I am on the subject of Lukas I thought he started the song out awsome but he always loses me toward the end. He does not keep up the strength thru the whole song. And his interview part tonite he came off very well, sincere. And does Gibly color his hair or what! His roots Glow each week like "hot" scalp or freshly colored.

I have to ask this -- we all know that tonight's show was actually taped a couple of days ago. So.... how can Brooke stand up at the end of the show and announce that the voting has just opened up and then show the bottom 3??

We don't start voting until 2 nights later and the voting polls shouldn't be up and running then.

I'm confused. This has bugged me for weeks.

PAm: They don't put the graphic up on the screen until the "live" airing (tonight). When the show is taped she says something like "here are the bottom 3 right now" and then goes on speaking (neither she nor anyone there at the taping knows who that is obviously). On the day of air, the graphics guy in the control room puts up the on screen graphic when that spot in the tape comes up.

Okay - that's where I was messing up, I thought that Brooke was actually saying who the Bottom 3 were before the episode ended. That's why I was getting confused.

But has anyone noticed that whoever Super Nova disses on after the performances, that's usually who is in the Bottom 3 at the end of the show?

I started out really liking Dilana, but her attitude is turning me off.

My current favorites are Storm, Toby, and Magni. Ryan is creeping into my heart as well.

I don't like Lukas at all.

My gut says that Storm is going home tonight.

Honestly - I think that my favorites are better off NOT winning this gig. I think they all could have successful careers on their own with the right record deal.

Ohh Storm....I really like her, but I fear its her week to go. She was so strong in the beginning, but next to the rest of the singers left, I don't think she'll make it.

The first week when I saw Magni, I thought..."wow, he is so pompous and not really that great." Now, I think he is the nicest guy in the house. I think once he stopped talking abotu how great he was in Iceland, I was able to see how great he really is.

I don't like Lukas...I don't know wht it is about him. Yes, he can sing, but he seems like a real jerk to me. I don't buy the "I'm the same as everyone" act...
I think he feels like he is better than the other performers.

I like Toby...he seems really fun and he's cute, but something about him doesn't seem to fit with Supernova. This week he seemed to fit in better, but in past weeks I was thining he didnt fit in at all. He really did a great job helping out Storm this week.

Ryan kind of creeps me out, but he is a great performer. I think he will be around until the end. However, he got some bad comments from Supernova.

I still really like Dilana. I think they showed all the negative things about her last week to hopefully even up the board. She has been so good, they had to do something to bring her down a little. Her song this week rocked, but I agree that maybe Supernova may not be 100 sure if they want a female lead singer.

My reviews:

Lukas - Lithium - Nirvana. I really didn't like this performance at all. His growling and weird annunciations bother me. I did like the arrangement though

Magni - I, Alone - Live. I really liked it. He connects well with the audience. He can sing. He doesn't go for the cheap showy stuff and the out there outfits because he doesn't need to. Can't wait to see him play with Supernova

Ryan - Clocks - Coldplay. Hate this song. Truly hate this song. I did think he sang it well but the crawling on the piano was lame in my opinion and I think Jason is right about him not being comfortable unless behind a guitar or a piano, which isn't a bad thing, but not right for Supernova.

Storm - Bring Me Back to Life - Evanescance, with special guest singer...A little bit off in the beginning because of the difference in register the song calls for. I thought this was a much better rendition than Jill's. I don't think she deserved the criticism she got. I think she'll be voted off if she's in the bottom 3 because it seems like the guys don't like her much. I would pay to see her in concert because she really has an excellent repoire with the audience.

Toby - Rebel Yell - Billy Idol. In the beginning I was like "what is he doing to this song" but then he rocked it out and brought such a great intensity to the performance and the audience loved him you could tell. Loved it.

Dilana - Mother Mother - Tracy Bonham. Dilana has been my favorite since day 1 but even I was starting to get a little bored with the same old thing. Holy crap! She totally killed this performance. Loved the Lenny Kravitz impression! Definitely deserves the encore!

Other than not liking Toby's performance of Rebel Yell quite as much I completely agree with Crankyshank. I actually started clapping at the end of Storm's performance (Toby was pretty good as well as the second vocalist).

I strongly agree that Ryan had the weakest performance I would hope it's him that goes ahead of Storm or Magni.

Sadly I think Lukas has enough fans to keep him out of the bottom three. He sucks, but shows like this have never been all about talent.

And I still feel Dilana and Magni are the only ones that have what it takes to front a group made up of people with this degree of experience.

I would also like to thank Crankyshank for doing what she did with the font to hide the spoilers. I will not be reading until I've watched for the week, but it was really cool to see that when I reviewed the thread again. You're always been somebody I enjoyed posting with.

My review from last night:

Lukas - Loved the arrangement, loved his performance as ALWAYS!!

Magni - talented singer, needs more of a stage presence - right to front Supernova - NO!

Ryan - Ryan is best behind the piano doing his thing like Jason said - right to front Supernova - NO!

Storm - She did a lot better than I thought she would do - right to front Supernova - NO!

Toby - Liked Lukas' version of Rebel Yell better but he did ok, I did think bringing the girls on stage was a little cheesy but I CAN SEE Toby fronting Supernova.

Dilana - never liked her, still don't.

So you're saying you can see Lukas fronting Supernova? None of the guys wear makeup and dress like Elton John, like Lukas does. How exactly would he fit? He's also way too young, or rather baby faced (which is the only problem I have with Toby as well). he;s the only one who broods. Supernova is a bunch of outgoing ROCKSTARS...I can just picture Lukas sitting in a dark corner brooding at a party. But hey, we're all entitled to an opinion right?

No secret that I'm not a Lukas fan.
