I think patrice will go next week even though I think she
s pretty good. She just doent have the chemistry with the guys.

I was hoping for the double elimination of Zayra and Patrice, but no such luck. I'm still shocked at Magni being in the bottom three, he's not my favorite, but I thought the audience liked him. I'm glad that they didn't use Ryan for the launching of their new song, it was a lame song and it may have hurt his chances of staying longer. Dilana has a strong enough fan base to weather that catastrophe.

I really liked the song with Supernova last night. I thought Dilana had great stage presence, although I wish she interacted with the guys a bit more. Not too crazy about the dancing girls but I guess they wanted something over the top stadium tour for their "coming out".

I liked the Supernova song. It had a nice classic rock-with a touch of metal sound to it. Dilana did it justice. Just from the brief sound bites they had of each singer doing the songs in the recording studio, Magni was by far the best...and totally needs to be fronting the band!

On another note, does anybody else think that there is something going on between Magni and Storm. I have noticed lately that they've been very "close" during the show and then last night as he was singing "CReep" and was sitting on the stage and during the last few lines he was staring at her in a very...ummm...personal way. I dunno. Maybe I look to hard. He also had Patrice on his lap at the end too so what do I know?

Also, it drives me batty that Lucas never (or hardly ever) claps or applauds the other contestants. I think it makes him look like a self-ceneterd douche-bag. The producers seem to go out of their way to show him looking alternately disinterested in who is singing or what they are singing or totally cheesed off about NOT being chosen for the encore/special performance.

I have noticed this too, but I think he just doesn't have a poker face. I think Storm was going way too far last night to show that being in the bottom 3 didn't bother her.

Lukas is trying to hard to maintain his "snarl".
Billy Idol - "been there".
And he seem so "one trick pony".

Delania is great.
Possabley too good for Supernova.
the song was nothing special.
And the dancing girls were sautéd in wrong sauce!

I think Lukas is just very jealous and knows he isn;t the best out there. He certainly looks happy when the lesser folks are performing and he could feel better knowing he is better than them.

I thought the new song was good, but not great. I really expected more given it was the first full song to be put out there.

The real shockers were Magni being in the three and Ryan getting the encore.

Magni was great. Finally gave us a good version of Creep.

Learn to actually sing whole words. It's Hold On! Ryan's last two performaces have really changed my opinion of him.

Magni said the truth when he sang "I don't belong here". He HARDLY belonged in the bottom 3. I'm so glad he was told "you're SO far from going home". He deserved that.

I love DILANA! She looked and sounded awesome last night.

I thought that was a nice touch too - both the irony of some of the lyrics and the comments from Gilby.

I think a lot of people "got" her after listening to her song this week - she will be a Latino star as a soloist. She sings much better in Spanish than she does in English, and she has the star power to stand on her own without a high profile band behind her.

I think Patrice saved herself with the attitude she put into Celebrity Skin. Her singing wasn't great, but she portrayed it well. Plus, they've already done the double elimination, so I don't think they'll do it again. She's probably gone next week though - or at least she should be.

With all due respect to Dave Navarro, I did not get chills with Dilana's performance. She was good as always, but I did not think it was spectacular.

OMG Thanks!!! I felt the same way, perfomance was good, but I certainly did not get "Chills!"... they love her and have no problem expressing it.... I really like her, but I don't think everything she does is THE BEST EVER!!!

I agree, she sounded pretty good singing Spanish lyrics, but the way she pronouced the words in some of the other songs is what always kind of made it sound off. Basically another Shakira, only with black hair.

I totally thought the same thing about Magni sounding the best on that Supernova song!

Lukas reminds me so much of JD from the first Rock Star -- totally brooding and obsessed that the band will like the other performers better than they do him.
