Rock'n Roller Coaster rehab in January is official

The Disney World website now officially has RNR closed from 1/2/07 through 1/21/07. I'm so bummed.

Oh No!! I thought I read somewhere else that it would go down on Jan 7, which would have given us two days to catch it. I had the kids all ready to go, too.

Guess we'll just have to go back again.

sorry to brag, but that's great for us! It was originally said to be down until like the 25th, so we would miss it. Now we will get to go if it does indeed re-open on the 21st! My parents are coming with us and have never been on it! Plus it is one of our faves! I am sooo much happier!

Does anyone know if Tower of Terror is due for rehab anytime soon? Glad RNR will be open when we go but TOT is my fave ride so i'm hoping this won't be closed in april.

I was aware of Splash when I booked but the ASMO pool was supposed to be finished by Dec 11th they extended that a few weeks ago.. heard about it on the DIS. Thanks for the info though I will check that site.

How do newbies manage without the DIS and other sites like that? When I booked I had no clue what to expect. Didnt even know there were restaurants in WDW and definitely not that you needed to make reservations (that are not really reservations) months in advance.
