Rockin New Luggage Tags

I just got my pouch with the paperwork in it and let me say that first I was impressed with the new plastic pouch that they send you, an improvement from last years paper folder this one is really cool. Plus I was expecting to see Tinkerbell again on the tags but they are these wayyy cool Happiest Celebration oneswhere you see the castle turn from normal to the gold decorations....I am really impressed.

What is everyone else's opinion???

I got mine on Saturday and felt the same way. I really liked the plastic pouch too. According to our info it stated we should be getting our ME tags within 21 days. Cannot wait for our trip. We go on June 25. We are almost at 30 days!!

I received my reservation confirmation, it was no different then any other trip.

I love the luggage tags! I too got the plastic insert. Very nice. Looks like a VIP tag doesn't it?

The tags are very cool. My kids keep trying to sneak off with them lol. We are just waiting for our ME package and then we will be all set

Oh happy day, Oh happy day,

We recived our little packet this morning. It's our first trip to WDW, neat little pouch, and the luggage tags ROCK!!!

We are driving ourselves, so I don't think we will recive anything else. Will we???

Gosh, I'm so excited, I just wish time would go by a little faster, ha ha ha

We leave for the "world" June 25, arrive to ASMov on the 26th for 7 most magical days of our lives.

Got ours a couple of weeks ago and we were so excited! In 2002, they were also very cool tags! We thought they were like that every year so we were quite disappointed to recieve the 'typical' Tinkerbell ones last year. I guess we got spoiled! LOL

Sassy....Can't be the ME luggage tags you are talking about cause you're driving?!
We are waiting for our ME luggage tags....we were told it would be 21 days prior to arrival....and we are at 20 now.....I will wait 2 more days, then call.

I got mine today as well. These are the ME tags, and it included our itinerary and park passes. I noticed we also received an admission to either the sports complex or mini golf. I didn't request it, so i don't know why it's on there. We leave on 6/19, so I'm just thrilled we've got everything we need!

Im confused lol. I thought the castle tags were just a "freebie" But now Im reading things about ME tags. Just what are the castle tags that I recieved with my plane tickets and info packet? Are they ME tags? I was under the impression that the ME tags would come seperatly and about 10 days before your trip.

What is it that you are all receiving?
It sounds like you all have packages that include airline tickets, or park tickets.
I do not have a package....so I am just waiting for my ME luggage tags.

cbm26002....you are leaving a week after us....so wondering why you received your tags before me....
I am thinking I need to call first thing tomorrow morning.

Disney must have been busy mailing the other day because we got ours too!!!! But we did not recieve luggage tags!! Should I call?!? Can't wait until June 24!!! 30 days and counting!!!!

cindyfan - I just took a second look at my documents and it does says that I will receive an Airport Transportation Booklet that includes the ME tags mailed separately. This mailing included the blue castle tags, which are not the same thing. The ME tags are yellow. Thanks for making me take a second look!

We are booked at Pop through DU and leave in 14 days. Should we have gotten any papers like a hotel confirmation sheet or luggage tags? We did the air tickets on our own and have e-tickets. Should we get something from POP? We already have our park tickets. What are we missing? Thanks!

Maybe I can shed some light...the package and tags they are referring to is your final confirmation and airline documents. When you book through Disney travel you first get a letter for your confirmation, then sometime between 30 days and two weeks before your trip you get your "package" (which used to be cardboard, but now is apparently plastic) envelope with your final confirmations, plane tickets, insurance voucher, and usually a flier for the Disney florist. You also get a complimentary set of luggage tags. It's just a neat envelope that keeps all your documents together. I think I also got Mickey-fetti in mine last year.

I can't state for certainty if you'll get this if you didn't book through Disney travel. You might from a travel agent because all they do is turn around and call Disney travel for you.

When they sent mine, they sent older tags. I was a little disappointed in that. Oh well.

You only get the luggage tags when you book a package either through a TA or WDWTC. If you have a room only ressie you don't get the decorated hard luggage tags. They are different from the ME tags.
