Yesterday I had absolutely NOTHING to do, so after my prompt 12:30pm awakening I pondered.. "what random characters can I find wandering the parks." So off to MGM I went to find random characters!!!!
I decided to make a few stops on the way. I went to the TGI Fridays in crossroads for lunch.. I LOVE THEIR BABY BACKS!!!!
During a quick stop at Epcot to go visit some friends. I pondered upon Geppetto wandering around in Japan. I quickly snagged that photo op.
On my way back I stopped at the ice station cool and filled my empty 20oz Sprite bottle w/ the japanese drink "VegitaBeta." It tastes like Tang, so I love it.
After a quick chat w/ a few acquaintances at Epcot, it was off to MGM i went.
Before I took any character pics, I decided to go ride some rides. First I went on Tower of Terror. It was empty (i don't know how) so I was on the elevator w/ 3 other people. I quickly snagged the seatbelt seat. I loved it. I hope they open ToT at DCA soon, so I have a reason to go.
Then I went right across the way to Rockin' Roller Coaster. Not a good idea after eating Baby Backs. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.
I decided to start in the back of the park and work my way forward.
Quickly after arriving on NY street (Washington Square area, around 3:30 pm) King Louie comes and greets me.. followed by Mr. Smee, Stromboli (random character #1), and Jafar (#2). I quickly snagged all of those photo ops.
Afterwards I worked my way to the front.. I was at the ABC Soundstage, by where all of the busts of peoples heads are.. who do I find??? Clopin (#3), Hook, and Donald. I quickly took pictures w/ Clopin and Hook, but decided Donald's line was a bit too long for my tastes.
Soon thereafter I went out to the very front of the park, by Sid Cahuengas. Quickly I see Darkwing Duck (#4), Quasimodo (#5), and the Hag from Snow White (#6). All of them were photographed.
On my way back home I made a brief stop at MK to check my work schedule. I had this feeling that if I didn't go to Toontown I would miss something. So I went. Who did I see??? Princess Aurora(#7), the Sleeping Beauty, joining Cinderella, Suzy, and Perla.
Quickly thereafter I went for a quick ride on Goofy's Barnstormer. My friend was working the load position and kept me on for 3 runs. That was fun
I thought about staying to watch the 9pm Spectro, but I decided I wasn't feeling too well, and decided to go home.
It was a good day, but a hot one (which reminds me of why I avoid going to WDW on an off day in the summer).
I'll probably attempt doing this again on friday, but if I don't, there's always my next day off.
