Oh my Dear Lord. I am sitting at my computer totally devastated. How hard it must have been for Dan to face such a decision. I am sure he felt Robin and Caitlin would be better off without such a burden, even though they would have been there for him, loving and comforting him every day no matter what each day had in store for them all. May he rest in peace and may Robin and Caitlin find comfort in the fact that they know he loved them very much.

When you talk to Robin please tell her we are sending our prayers and love to her and Caitlin.

So very sad indeed. I too had met Dan and Robin at the same DIS meet Lisa mentioned, in Dallas two years ago, and all three of them again at WDW last year. He was a great guy, perfect for Caitlyn and Robin. He just seemed to always want to go along with the program, as long as Caitlyn and Robin were happy. I am so sorry to hear this, Janette, my heart goes out to them. My prayers are with Robin and Caitlyn both, and the respective families and friends.

I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with Robin and Caitlin and I will share this with the prayer chain at church immediately. We can rejoice in the happy times they all had together and know that Dan is finally out of pain. If I have learned anything on this board, it's that the outpouring of love, prayers, comfort and support from the Dissers is tremendous. Let Robin know that she and her family are surrounded and supported in His love.
