That a really cool idea!ties in with your theme perfectly!
Whilst looking at your ideas board again 'peacocks' sprung to mind...they seem to be associated with enchanted/fantasy gardens quite a bit and their colour scheme might fit in with yours nicely...
Now I'm not suggesting you go steal somebodies peacocks and have wild poultry strutting about your wedding reception but could be cool if you could get mini ones for the trees....maybe....I dunno....

some people love it- some people hate it.... what about ivy?

you could buy that fake ivy (i saw some in a store like hobby craft once where there was loads of fake greenery plants / flowers) and you could wear that around places?

You def need to go with lots of sparkle. Would the venue let you sprinkle / would they sprinkle really fine glitter over the floors? (probs not-but i can just imagine all the floor looking sparkly hehe-am i being OTT?? HAHA!)

but what about like ... you imagine a fairy garden being all misty... (you know where im going here)... what about some kind of way to create a mist/ smoke? (Not that stage smoke as it smells) but im sure there must be a way? hehe

im just thinking for you.. i came accross a packet of fairies (like plastic toy faires)... i cannot remember where... they were so pretty.... let me have a think and ill get back to you where i got them from. (it may be a shop called past times???)

im sure it was the shop past times (i just looked on thier website but it never showed any. they were like, you could sit them on the edges of things and they could hang off things?)

I love the idea of peacocks... Sooo colourful and pretty! I wouldn't be above stealing a couple from a nearby stately home... I actually saw some little sparkley ones somewhere the other day before I had the tree idea... I think I shall go and track them down!!

they are quite the bird! If you for one reason or another do not manage to kidnap those ones, there are a couple hanging about Dublin zoo that I wouldn't be opposed to rounding up into my car and sending over to you on a sort of working holiday... Oh my god, that would make me a peacock pimp!

yeah those fairies that sit on the edges of things! i even found some that hang, and some that are laying down in that shop Past Times -you should take a look in there, i think they was pretty cheap too. They was glittery too!
