Rob Lowe, who left The West Wing in 2003, will reprise his role as Sam Seaborn in the final two episodes of the series. The drama's final five episodes will also feature return visits from Mary-Louise Parker, Anna Deavere Smith, Emily Procter, Marlee Matlin, Gary Cole, Tim Matheson, Timothy Busfield and Annabeth Gish, according to the Hollywood Reporter


This is such great news. I hope he comes back married to Ansely Hayes (Emily Procter).

is this show still on? I was probably one of the most faithful viewers to this program and then when NBC decided to mess with my Sunday schedule, I refused to watch. I am actually doing that with the Apprentice this season, I was on the fence as to to whether I'd watch that on Monday, because I'm a bit sick of the Donald and his fame seeking ways (and trying to take down Martha in the process), so when I was watching Deal or No Deal on Monday and I heard them play the Apprentice theme song, and the Donald walked out to promote his show....well, that made up my mind. This is the first seaon that I am not going to watch the Apprentice. I'm sure NBC could care less - but I care and that's what matters.....I didn't intend to hijack, but it seems that I did. Sorry.

NBC moves things around to make best use of their schedule. It might not have been good for us to mess with TWW's timeslot, but it was better for them, and it's their network.

FWIW, this was the best season of TWW in the last several. I'm really looking forward to the finale.
