We are going to Aquatica late May and not sure if we should rent the loungers or not. My mother in law needs some shade due to skin cancer, so I want to make sure we can get out of the sun at some time during the day. We are going the same day we are flying in, so we can't get there right at opening. Not sure if we should splurge and get a cabana or if the chairs are enough. I have a 7 year old, so I'm sure we won't be sitting too much! Any info on the loungers ($34 for two) or the cabana (cheapest $149) would be appreciated.
Thanks

Depends how many people are in your party. We just went there last week with a party of 9..... One family got a cabana, which only includes the price for four people. Any additional people are $15 a person (only up to 7 ppl), and everyone gets a bracelet. (the rest of the family did not partake in that) We started off getting some chairs next to the kiddie area in the sun ( we got there around 11) but not long after a lot of shady chairs became vacant.... And looking around the park there are a lot of chairs and big umbrellas ( more than TL and BB it seemed like). The cabanas came with towels, water, a small fridge, and a safe.

Awesome! Just booked the loungers, thinking about getting a cabana still.
We can cancel and upgrade if cabana's are still available.
