RO offer booked

I just called the regular reservation line, but I've been on hold for 35 minutes, so maybe there's a better number to call

I was on that number for over an hour on hold. I called the disney visa number now, but I'm not sure if that is right.

I'm about to give up and try again later. So frustrating!

Got through but the next CM said the promotion was already applied to my reservation because we were checking in during the promotion period. Not true. She wouldn't even try to look at it! So frustrating! I think I'm going to give it a few minutes and call back.

The Beach Club is not being offered in this promotion, so that is probably why. The BC/YC had a promo through a travel agency for this time and booked up most of it that way.

Yes, it's crazy. Maybe they shouldn't release free dining and a RO discount on the same day....let us know if you have any luck with the disney visa number.

Beach Club IS offered with the room-only discount.

Is anyone getting through??!?! Is it normal to be on hold for more than 30 minutes?

On days with free dining you can be on hold for a couple of hours. It's not unheard of at all. I know people who were on hold for almost 4 hours. If you get through in less than an hour you are doing great.
I haven't read it officially, but from what I saw from someone else this room offer is required to be a package as well

No, there are two versions of the room discount offer: room-only and package. Room discounts are the same with both versions. The only difference is that the package version includes tickets (and optionally, dining plan) and follows package rules.

Yikes!! I have to leave in 15 minutes! This is insanity, and the discount isn't even that great!

Agreed...it was 30% off all summer....what gives? A big disappointment but better than nothing I suppose.

Agreed! HUGE disappointment, but better than the sad 5% for some resorts. I was really hoping September RO promo would be the same for the Poly as it was all summer tho....(yep, pouting here a bit).

But that 30% is now really making me question my beloved Poly over other resorts that I have been meaning to try but can never pull the trigger ....WL or BC...but let's face it....I'll suck it up & stick w/the Poly...it will just be Disney Math btwn the RO vs FD now.

Oh & I AM going to Disney World, so let's do a happy dance people...even if the discount is not as great as we had hoped!!!

Mousesavers has the promotion up now. Mods range from 5%-25%

OK, just found the list on Mousesavers. Looks like 25% off Coronado Springs, standard rooms is what I'm going to try for.

I hope there will still be some available on Thursday for non-Disney Visa holders! Seems like such a frenzy this morning, ack!!!

Well, after over an hour on hold, they told me the discount isn't available on Poly CL rooms with garden view, only with theme park view. That's way above our price range, so can't swing it. Very disappointed

I'm currently booked at POFQ, but I'd like to get a discount.

Should I change my resort today, and then call again Thursday to add the discount? Does it make a difference, or can I just wait and do the whole shebang on Thursday?

Changed from ASMu to POR- Garden view using the RO Visa offer - 8/18-24!

I was on hold about 30 minutes and the CM I got was so sweet and knowledgeable - she said they are super busy today!
