1st off pm doesnt have any mandatory tipping.

Is this a recent development? The last time we ate at Pepper market, a 10% gratuity was automatically added to our check.

Thanks everyone.. you had me sold to switch to CSR, so i had my TA call to switch it and they have no room avail fr our dates left! darn it!!!! we could do 2 rooms with a king in each but really its not worth he extra $$ for the short trip and we will stick to sharing a room at POR... we are taking the kids back in Dec 2013 so maybe ill try CSR then

Have a wonderful time at POR!! You won't be disappointed.. This is definitely not themed to Southwest, but to Southern Bayou/Mansion at POR to New Orleans Mardi Gras at POFQ. You can take a romantic cozy carriage ride at night that takes you along the river.
Or you can take a nice stroll along the river to POFQ and take a relaxing boat ride back. Try their beignets!! It's really good! I eat that for breakfast and for snacks. Enjoy!

Then on your following trip, you can explore CSR! It is also beautiful there!

When i was there was 2 years ago I had free dining plan nothing was added too. it was up to me to tip what I wanted to. Like i stated 5 for the four of us

Unfortunately, being a "off site vendor" for the restaurant and staffed differently, they are very inconsistent with the tipping. In our nine stays at CSR, that has been our only beef. We don't mind tipping (we enjoy having real dishes, silverware, napkins, etc.), but they need to be consistent with how they handle it.
