Any recent news on testing progress? We were hearing about pretty extensive testing in mid-October, but haven't heard anything since.
Executives were there within the last few weeks. They want this open ASAP, people are not staying at AK at night. This is costing them big money because of the delays. Most I have seen are still confident this opens in November. I have heard one solid report on December now though because of the minor collision. This collision did not cause damage. The company involved in construction of the floats is not cooperating all that well either.
Been reported on here a few times that there was a "minor float collision" very recently ..... minor relates to damage but there is nothing minor about floats still not able to stay on course.
And reports that soft was to start a week ago ............. crickets.
I was with CM friend last weekend ......... I casually brought it up ............... I got spontaneous laughter.
Disney would do best to keep this thing very tight but the fact they have announced so many other night things happening and nothing about this .............. doesn't seem like they are confident.
Funny how you can have sources/contacts that are all good but other people's contacts/sources aren't good enough.
If this can't run flawlessly, reset and run again 2-3 times a night, they have a problem. And I agree, if they decide to go ahead and run it just once per night, they will have to do no SB or it could get ugly. But I do think if they decide to do that, if the show is good, many will be upset and the backlash could be worse than not opening it.

I didn't see a high five so this will have to suffice!
