Now that it's been around a while....on an average day, can one expect to easily get seating standby?

I'd not say "easily."

At WDW, "Eariler" beats "Later" in the grand scheme of things.

If seeing a particular show is IMPORTANT to you:
I would arrive at the Standby waiting area 45-60 minutes before show time.

If seeing a given show is just of passing interest,
you can arrive later (30 min., or so) and it might work out for you.

If you rope drop, then sure...if that's "easy". Beyond that, I don't think you'll find the line under 45 minutes.

Methinks Klayfish has confused Rivers of Light with Flight of Passage?

Rope drop?

Face palm...Can you tell I got two hours of sleep last night? I had a race this weekend and I got home at 2am...back out at 4am for my normal workday routine. I read the post as NRJ.

Well, I still stand by my answer...yes, if you rope drop you're guaranteed to get darn good seat. :smokin: I need a pillow...

I mean, my party arrived pretty last minute. We couldn't even find the stand-by entrance, so we asked a CM for the dining reservation entrance. She just said we could sit in that section. I would plan on arriving early, but CMs do their best to help out.
