I haven't read this thread, but I'm adding a data point. Today 2 of us had a 3pm meal at Tiffin's for the Rivers of Light package and I was able to use the Tables In Wonderland 20% discount on alcoholic drinks and the child's meal, and I used deluxe dining credits for my adult meal. Octopus app, fried whole snapper entree, sorbet dessert, and a pot of coffee all covered.

This is good to know, we will be purchasing TIW when we are there in June. We have ROL dining reservations at Tusker House and I am assuming that TIW will be accepted there too.. but then again you know what assuming does .

Yes -- Tusker House takes the TIW card (we're AP holders too!)

You can use TIW on alcohol, but not on the dining package (unless something has changed since August).

How was the RoL experience with the package seating? What time did you get to the theater? How long did you wait on line to get in? What choice of seats did you have?

Once we battled the crowds to get to the reserved section by the Finding Nemo theater, we strolled right in with no wait. There was still a little seating for dining package guests, mostly in the back rows, and the CMs kept asking people to move over to make room for others. My 6yo somehow found us two spots in the second row behind empty handicap seating just outside the reserved section, so we sat there.

Anyone know when they will extend reservation bookings past the end of June? Today was my 180 day reservation day but the ROL packages aren't available for end of Aug yet. I've booked just a regular Tusker House for now (it's my daughters must) but am really hoping to get a ROL package when available.

No one knows. I'm checking multiple times a day and it is getting frustrating.

There is a report that a CT said on the phone it would be end of the month, but phone CM are not always a reliable source of info

Based on trying to find openings for the end of February/early March - Tusker House is much more difficult to find an opening. There are plenty of openings for lunch at Tiffins and nada for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Tusker. Dinner at Tiffins does seem to be booked more. I think that overall, people are going for the more affordable option.

Even if I wake up in the middle of the night. Finally got TH for 10:40am, the 8:10am 3 days ago. Today I struck gold, got 9:10am. YEEESSSS! So excited! Woo-hoo!

I was in the same situation - worked all day the day it was announced and by the time I could check after work, all of the reservations were gone. After a week of checking 4-5 times a day, I finally got a breakfast adr at Tusker House! I was SO EXCITED!!

I booked all my ADRs for the end of August today except this one and said hmm better go check the DIS to find out what is going on with nothing showing up. Good thing I work from home so I can stalk this ADR every day until they release later dates.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered but I finally managed to book a Tusker House package for lunch on the date we were looking for! I just wanted to double check that it's still character dining during lunch? Thanks!
