Rivers of Light Dining Package Lookout Thread - NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS

We did the Jungle Book dining package with a wheelchair and the seating was at the top and bottom, so front and back. If you choose to sit at the front the viewing probably isn't as good but since it is my son in the wheelchair and he is short this was better for us also pretty steep to push the wheelchair back up the hill. If you choose to sit at the top or the back there is a bit of a solid concrete wall so you have to look over the top.

We arrived early even with the package and people were already seated in the wheelchair spots but we still could choose where we sat. Small bench next to wheelchair for others in your party. Would say it's a smaller setting anyway and so wheelchair seating is not as abundant as well.

I seem to recall on the construction photos a while back that there was wheelchair ramp and seating below the bottom row of the standard seating.

I apologize if this has been asked, but do we assume we can order anything on the menu for Tiffins, or will it likely be a limited number of choices? What I would select is way more than the $67 package price, so I'm trying to figure out why Disney would want to give me free food :)

I know for the Brown Derby Fantasmic package it's anything off the menu, and what we select usually costs more. Hopefully this is the same.

The Brown Derby had a separate Fantasmic package menu when we went in September. What I wanted to order was on it; but it wasn't the complete Brown Derby menu.

Ugh. I really want to try the short ribs at Tiffins, and it would be really disappointing if it wasn't available. It would be nice if they actually posted the menu online somewhere to show what we can get.

Do you know if there was a way to upgrade to items not on the smaller menu?

Just booked Tusker house April 27 dinner. Here's the question, due to this being a dinner package is it going to cost more $$$???. The reservation only took my Ccard to hold. I've never done a dinner package before.

I'm not one to even think of asking, so I regret I do not know if upgrades were possible. That nasty jello-brand pudding they put in a mini ramekin topped with a disk of torched sugar that they tried to pass off as creme brulee sure needed an upgrade though.

The dinner packages are a little more than just booking a meal. The pricing is on the ROL dining package page, but you have to click where it says "read more".

The ramp we took went all the way to the bottom to the front row.

Don't remember where I saw this, but wasn't
Flame Tree BarBQ originally supposed to be one of the dining packages for ROL? Don't see it now.

Found an opening for an early lunch at Tiffins for 2/28. We'd still prefer breakfast at Tusker House, so I will keep looking, but booked the lunch just in case!

Found this also. I was torn between the 2 restaurants when I booked. Now I'm happy I choose the least expensive one. We quite doing the dinning plan a few years back. Now I purchase gift cards and love the freedom. On the funny side I find my sister drinks more alcohol on or trips now due to the cards.
Note the costs on allears are a few bucks lower than the Disney cite. Just $2-3 though

Hopefully someone will post about the menu offerings once the packages start - the beef is amazing and the reason we like to go to Tiffins. I would be ticked if it wasn't available for the package....

I think that was just a rumor way back when RoL was supposed to open last spring. Since the show never opened nothing was ever confirmed...

We are going in July and it seems you can't book it yet. Anybody have thoughts about why bookings end in June and/or when July will open up?

Thanks! Remember they even had a price for the meal listed - $23 (?) - and that the DDP would not be accepted. Not surprised they decided to drop it!!
