I sure wish Disney could build the Cars Land to Hollywood Studios and add Villain's Land in another part of Magic Kingdom while still keeping Frontierland, Tom Sawyer's Island, and Rivers of America. These attractions are beloved classics and also reference the history of the United States. I sure will miss these attractions. Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn is a beloved American classic. . The new expansion is wonderful, but I believe Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer's Island should be here to stay as well for many generations to enjoy.

Only have to look look a few feet SW and see what Disney did to another beloved American classic …. I’m alright with villain’s land in a new part of the park but taking away the classics that make Disney different than any other theme park imo will be proven to be a mistake in the long run. I can hit any number of theme parks within a 3-4 hour drive and spend way less time and money but chose WDW over those because of its unique way of entertaining. Sadly I think some of that is lost.

Disney is slowly turning into Six Flags. It will eventually be their downfall for the parks. The parks were a place the Entire Family could go, from ages 2 to 102. Who makes these decisions??? They should be fired.

I find it sad for nostalgic reasons but in all my years of going to Disney World I’ve never done Tom Sawyer's Island or Rivers of America.

I’m hoping the new attractions will relieve wait times on some of the other rides.

Yeah we didn’t do it on every trip and many times it wasn’t even open at the times we travel but the keel boats over to the island always seemed full when they were actually running …certainly not opposed to new attractions but they need to find a way to save the classic attractions …think about what we have lost in that one park in recent years… Swiss Family Tree House and Tiki room fans should be watching this closely cause good chance they are next

Disney is in trouble if the DO make changes like this, and they're in trouble if they DON'T. For us, the Riverboat is certainly nostalgic, and we enjoy seeing it as we walk through Frontierland. But it's been at least 25 years since we actually went to Frontierland with the intent of riding it. Just not a very interesting attraction to take the time for us. So this change is promising to us that something more fun and modern will be coming. We love the Cars attraction in Anaheim - one of our 10 favorites across all the parks. So bringing it to Frontierland makes a ton of sense to us, and we'll be making it a regular stop on our trips. Based on the theming at CA, it seems like it fits perfectly with Frontierland - similar look as Big Thunder Mountain. I know it's not the tone of this thread, but we're looking forward to the change and something new that's needed in Frontierland. With Tiana, the new Bears, and eventually Cars, it's going to offer us attractions that will have us spending more time in that land than we have been in recent years.

As for me, If it would have not bern for our soldiers, veterans, our fallen soldiers and veterans, as well as those serving this country, we would not be enjoying the life we live now and doing the things we love to do. We definitely need to preserve the heritage of the United States and we thank those who served and are serving for their service.
