River Belle Terrace - Reservations capped party size?

Is there a party size limit for reservations at River Belle Terrace?

Just went through about 2 dozen dates to test my theory. All have dinner reservations available for a party of 5 (or fewer), but no availability for a party of 6. Dates were a mix of weekday and weekend from next week until early October.

I'm not sure about River Belle, but as a party of 9 we have always been able to reserve at others. A couple of times we have had as many as 14 for BB and while I couldn't reserve online, the vacation planners were able to take care of it for us. Maybe you just can't do it online.

A lot of times they can do larger parties with the first available seating...that way they can set the table before opening rather than trying to pull tables together mid service.

You might have better luck with a direct call to Disney Dining to set that up.

I tried making reservations for a party of 8 a few weeks ago and was getting the message "Party size too large, try again" so I think they have a cap of 5 people for this location. I haven't been inside since they converted to the new menu and seating so I'm not sure if they can even move tables around to get a bigger party together anymore.

When I tried for 6, it says "The party size is too large."

The tables are bolted down for outside seating at RBT. Our party of 6 sat at 2 tables close to each other.
We made reservations a few hours before.

We also ate inside once (again with 6) for the Fantasmic meal. It was pretty cramped.

If they are going to keep it a sit down restaurant they going to need to revamp it.
