We were at SeaWorld yesterday doing a Manta marathon with Quick Queue and were wearing our Rip Ride Rockit t-shirts. Lots of the TMs asked if it was running, and some shared info. they had heard. Coasterj, not sure if one of them was you but we did hear similar things from some we spoke with. My Hope Meter plunges further and further each day.
One good thing about most B & M coasters (Manta excluded because of its wacky restraint system): you don't have to worry about the harness popping open because they have the good old-fashioned seatbelt thingie as a failsafe to hold it down.
Amazingly, Manta was running smooth as butter yesterday. We rode it 20 times with Quick Queue and didn't even get there at opening, plus took an hour dinner break. We did leave before park close because it was starting to run a little flaky...not going all the way up into the position the first time, stopping on its way to the hill or out of the brake run, etc. Minor things, but my Manta obsessed hubby who rides it several evenings a week said that usually means it's going to start misbehaving worse and slow things down signficiantly.
