No, wicked scary is being on floorless SheiKra stuck at the top of the second hill in a thunderstorm! We were stuck up there for like 10 minutes before they got it running again. Busch just started a tour where you get to climb Montu's brake run. We are doing that one for sure.

I'm afraid that's the million dollar question. Nobody knows and Universal are keeping tight lipped.

We were at Universal on Sunday, August 2nd. They were running empty test cars most of the day. My husband wanted to volunteer to be a test subject! Maybe they are close.......

We were there all day on the 2nd as well and they had the cars running all day. We asked if they were any closer to opening and we of course got the standard reply of they had not been given an exact date but keep checking back.

Yes normally all good signs. However some people I used to work with over there that now work on that ride are saying there are still a number of problems and (i hate to be the bearer of bad news on this one) there goal for opening day is now sometime during HHN.

Sorry Everyone.... maybe universal will think twice before they go with a company like mauer sohne again just to save a quick million.

I was there yesterday and never seen a car run =( Must be frustrating for universal too, they have the merch in the shops and all the ad's up but nothing to show for it.

When it is finally open the park will be so busy! We're there for two weeks from 18th September and i really hope it's open by then. But i do hope that it won't make all the rides stupid busy at a time we're hoping the crowds won't be too big. Especially as the parks are only open until 6pm then!
