Wow...this is so shocking to me and so sad. She was so brokenhearted to lose her DD and was strong for her grandchildren and family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them. We will miss her here on the DIS.

I am so sorry to read this. I remember her post a few weeks ago, updating on her condition. I had hoped she would get thru her surgery & recover. My heart aches for her family. She must have been an amazing woman to have endured the loss of her daughter & raise her granddaughters. My prayers that she is at peace with her daughter & that her family has strength to carry on.

I have just PM'd Minnie&Nana for an address where we can send sympathy cards to the family - to let them know how we all felt about Nana2Tots and how we followed her journey - and supported her from the time of Sandi's tragic passing till now..

If anyone is interested, send a PM to Minnie&Nana and she will provide you with an address that can be used..

Someone did this for me - during the time my late DH was at his worst - and again when he passed away shortly after that.. It meant the world to me and I still have every one of those cards..

So - please - if you would like to support Nana2Tots family at this difficult time, just PM Minnie&Nana for the appropriate address..

Let's all pull together and get those cards out.. I'm sure they will be greatly appreciated..

I was friends with Judy both here and on Facebook. She was such a wonderful person - always had a kind word or a funny remark to make you smile. She lived for her family - especially her sweet husband and those granddaughters. I am sure they are lost now without her but now they have 2 Guardian Angels. I have no doubt Judy has been reunited with her beloved Sandi.

What a shock to learn that her surgery went well but then she was taken by the stroke.

Rest in peace, my friend. You are most certainly missed.
