RIP Nana2Tots

[Minnie&Nana]

A dear, wonderful friend, who was a DIS member since 2003, passed today.

As many of you know, she had cancer surgery on November 10th - the surgery went very well, but later that day she suffered a stroke. This morning she returned to God and will be with her daughter Sandi again.

My heart is breaking for her family...her 2 precious granddaughters, her husband...she will be missed by so many. She and Papa were the kind of people who, even the first time you met them, made you feel you'd been family forever.

Please hold this dear family near in heart and prayer. Rest in peace, dear Nana.

Oh dear! I had no idea she was sick. I remember talking to her several years back when she was especially struggling with the loss of her precious Sandi. At least now they are together. So sorry for your loss.

Nancy, what is sad is that the surgery was very successful...it was the stroke that took her. She was so worried about that because of her vascular history, as she had shared in her posts about the surgery.

Her passing really shook me....I was stunned and not expecting it at all.

I will let her family know how all Nana's DIS friends are praying for them.
