RIP aussie dollar

Or as I just saw at 3:57pm
1.00 AUD = 1.00468 USD

:goodvibes

And yet my bank is still only offering .9535c buggers! It used to only be about 2-3c less and now the gap is getting bigger! Greedy banks. And I have to use them as that's who I have,y travel card with.

Wonder what the banks will open at

Call me a pessimist...

:upsidedow

hmmm, don't hold your breath :roll eyes:

Yeah the yen is at 79, but the bank is only offering 74 :headache:

1.00 AUD = 1.00156 USD

Must be all the fertiliser we've been showering it with....:rotfl:

This all makes no sense, although it could have something to do with my bank (who passed on full interest rate decrease, they need to make up the cash somewhere), the exchange rate for buying cash .959, thats a fair way off.
I guess the big blue bank sees that the people going overseas don't need to watch their cash as much as the ones paying off their mortgage (but we can't look after everybody )
