Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

Those pictures are amazing. They have really inspired me to slow down and take some different type of pictures on our next trip.

I have a question about character breakfasts. We are scheduled for Cape May this trip. Is it a good one? Is it less crowded than 'Ohana? We did 'Ohana last time and really enjoyed it. Just wondering if we should keep the Cape May one or go back to 'Ohana.

Drew's pictures are amazing! I especially love the ones from the beach and the fireworks; I agree with Lovemy3babes- they are all frame worthy! And Drew always takes such beautiful pictures of Bella :thumbsup2

I'm very sad about the possibility of there being no resort specific merchandise soon. It was bad enough that they stopped it at the values, but the deluxes - we need cool souvenirs from those.

HUH!?!? So are they just going to take all of the merchandise away?? What the heck are the resort stores and the WOD store going to have in it!!?? :confused3

Bread as big as Bella's head...

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Jill - I honestly can't remember if I responded on FB, but I am VERY glad you found someone you are comfortable with!! I'm sure you fell 100,000x better :goodvibes

He wasn't in a posing mood.

So......picture taker but not a poser huh?? :rotfl:

me too! :thumbsup2 (as long as it's not within like 2 weeks of giving birth to my first child. had to throw that condition in there.)

 2 weeks before or 2 years after :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Those are AMAZING!!!

Ask him how much he would charge me to do some 'pre-baby' pictures. I REALLY need to get that set up, b/c I am getting very crunched for time

beautiful pictures!!!! tell drew those are just awesome. i showed ray the one of the fireworks. i really wanna do that one day - just go down there and splurge on 1 night at the poly for NYE.

i see memom hiding! you are so funny. ;)

Wow! Those fireworks look amazing!!! I bet that was the perfect way to ring in 2010! Great pictures of the girls and the big group one! That monorail shot is pretty spiffy, too!

They were very cool. I liked the monorail shot, too.

Those pictures are just beautiful....

I hope you had a good first week back after break!

Very busy. State people were supposed to come, so we were prepared for that, but they postponed until next week.

Amazing photographs Drew!
Sneaky peaky pic MeMom! I'm not the least bit surprised though...
I love the picture of Bella!
princess:

I was hoping not to mess up the group picture. :)

Those little fingers in the mouth are cute. She was teething.

I'm so glad Bella will be in good hands for her surgery.
You should have complete faith and trust in her doctor, so kuddos to you for finding the right one.

I took Lexi to Birmingham for tests when she was less than a month old.
The doctors at the Children's Hospital were great. I was very impressed.
I will be praying for everything to go well

I've been sooo busy, work and more work! I did get a raise.....:thumbsup2

Me too! I was there chatting and watching the NYE show!
It was so fun to see glimpses of Brooklynn in her glow necklace.
We even got to see Bella when Trent brought her to the camera!
Trent was hilarious! I was laughing so much when he and Jarvis performed.....I kept thinking....they are having the best time!
I wanted to be there on the beach with you.

I really hope you are there for NYE 2012!
Maybe I'll splurge for a room at Poly....we can meet there....for one night

I wonder how much it would be?

I can't wait to cut into one of those teriyaki steaks of my own at Kona in 5 months.
I'm eating there because of your great reviews.
I'm sure it won't disapoint.

It's gotten chilly here, gotta go put on a sweater....

I havn't gone anywhere yet...seems that you added an update as I was typing.
Drew's pics are FABULOUS!!!
I love the hibiscus pics!
The fireworks ones are beautiful!

Does anyone know what happened to my ticker?

Oh....not good...I found the answer for myself....(insert scary face)....LOL

What were Lexi's troubles when she was a baby?

It is so nice for them to provide the Poly webcam for everyone to enjoy.

Congratulations on your raise!

We've had cool days here this week, too. A month ago, 44 was a heat wave!

Wonderful pictures!! Love that one of Bella.

Have a great weekend!

Gonna do housework, party prep, and because I have to - school work.

Wow!!! That is really all I can say about Drew's pictures!! I just love the fireworks he got!! I never can get any good firework pictures!

I can't either, but I knew he could, so I didn't bother to take any at all.

Holy cow MeMom!! You have an amazing photographer on your hands! Does Drew take classes or is he just self taught? I just love the Poly and fireworks photos. All of them! They are SO frame worthy. Just wow! I'm onto your tricks though MeMom, just barely peeking around the group like that.

He's in his third semester at an art college. He's going to have to take a break this summer, though, because the tuition is killing me. If he can be a photographer for his career, he will be a happy boy.

The firework pictures were wonderful.

I was very pleased with what he got, and it was fun to see how massive they were again.

We've done both. If you have done 'Ohana, definitely go to Cape May. They have an excellent buffet. They were both busy, but we are so involved in our own table, we don't much think about what everyone else in the place is doing. I vote to go for Cape May, and I am guessing Jill would say the same.

Drew's pictures are amazing! I especially love the ones from the beach and the fireworks; I agree with Lovemy3babes- they are all frame worthy! And Drew always takes such beautiful pictures of Bella :thumbsup2

I might frame a small one and put it in the den. He would probably like that. :)

He thinks Bella is cute, but he wouldn't say it in words.

Those are AMAZING!!!

Ask him how much he would charge me to do some 'pre-baby' pictures. I REALLY need to get that set up, b/c I am getting very crunched for time

He would just tell you to give him what you think it is worth. Maybe we can come over next weekend when Jill and the girls are here. Let me know, and I'll talk to him.

We checked into it for that night. There was nothing for less than about $660, the best I remember. We walked, monorailed, and bussed back to our hundred dollar room. And I think a hundred is expensive enough!

I was okay with being in the back of the picture, but I did think my face was in there a little more.

Maybe it's Jill's fault.
She moved in front of me.
Yeah, that's it. ;)

Drew's pictures are really fantastic! He should be so proud of himself. I think he will do great in photography. Is he going to a full-time photography school or taking a few classes at a community college? When will he be done with his schooling on it? I'm sure he is looking forward to starting a job in the field to put his skills to work. I think that's great that he has a passion for something out of the ordinary and is going for it. I wish I would have had the guts to do that. I'd be a travel agent or photographer right now instead of sitting here with a teaching degree that I don't want to use! I REALLY hope it works out for him and he has a wonderful career! :thumbsup2 And I think Disney is a GREAT place to practice! ;)

Gonna do housework, party prep, and because I have to - school work.

Try not to do too much of that school work you speak of...I left all of mine at school!!

He's in his third semester at an art college. He's going to have to take a break this summer, though, because the tuition is killing me. If he can be a photographer for his career, he will be a happy boy.

What college does he go to? My niece is about to graduate from Art Institute. I know they have campuses all over. When we were up there the other weekend, her DH showed us their loan amount and I about passed out! She's majoring in graphic design but has done quite a bit of the photography classes as well. She loves it, and is very good, but I hope in this economy she is able to get a good job because when she has to start paying that back...yikes!

He thinks Bella is cute, but he wouldn't say it in words.
I think his love shines through the pictures.:goodvibes

Good morning everyone! Just wanted to check in really quickly. The picture of Bella that Drew took is one of my absolute favorites. It has been a busy week down here in Alabama - Bella's appt in Birmingham, her 1 year pictures, and last night we went to Disney Live with friends and had a blast! I hope to get some pictures up this afternoon, but I have a busy morning ahead of me because of all the errands I have to run for my upcoming busy week - Brooklynn has karate, I have a staff meeting, then we have our schoolwide Easter egg hunt and spring parties on Friday not to mention the fact that as soon as that is over we are headed to Nashville for Bella's party on Saturday and I have to have everything done and ready for that to be transported up there. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You made me start thinking of our Cape May breakfast again, so I thought I'd look up some pictures. This may help you make a decision.

The guys were ready to munch down, and the Beach Club lobby is certainly a nice waiting room.

Sorry I didn't get clearer pictures, but maybe this will show you some of the food and the basic atmosphere. This will be a 'do again' for us, no doubt.

He goes to an art college. They do designing, photography, etc. He loves it, but it is SO expensive. He is somewhere around Atlanta today doing a dog show, I think he said.

I think his love shines through the pictures.:goodvibes

He's not a kid person, but the girls are growing on him.

My niece is getting a double major in photography and Graphic Design just sold her first picture. She entered the art show they have each year called the Delta, in New Rock, AK and her piece was one of the picked to show. Then someone that came along offered to buy it. She was all excited, that someone actually wanted to buy one of her pictures.

The reason I am telling you this is, yes I am a proud aunt, but also the Delta show is open to persons in the seven states that touch AK. So Drew would be eligible to enter a piece. He needs to ask his teachers about it for next year.

My niece has worked weddings in the passed, but this is the first time she sold what would be considered a art piece. When she works wedding she just sells the CD of the pictures with copyright and does not worry with the printing. But it is a good deal for people trying to keep cost down. She charges by the hr. so if you have a mother that is talkative or disorganized, all my niece has to do is remind her of the time.

I love Jarvis with his friend Donald and the picture with Minnie and the boys.
Bella and Brooklynn are adorable as usual in the pictures.

Cape May breakfast has me hungry!
Going to look for something to eat...

I wish I had a Mickey Waffle!
:goodvibes

The Cape May breakfast looks yummy! Maybe I need to look at scheduling that since we'll be at BC anyway............:rolleyes1

Ooohhh that CM food has me hungry too!!! :goodvibes I only eat scrambled eggs on property! Mmmmm mmmm!

Love those fireworks pictures! I will just always leave it to everyone else to come up with these amazing shots!!! ;) Great monorail pic too :thumbsup2

So I promised Disney Live pictures from last night.

We went to Red Robin to eat first. We went with some friends of ours and their little girl MaryBeth.

IMG_6933.jpg

Brooklynn enjoyed her dinner of Sprite and cantaloke.

IMG_6936.jpg

Bellarie eating her grilled cheese sandwich after eating mandarin oranges and half a basket of fries.

IMG_6937.jpg

The girls before we headed to our seats.

IMG_6939.jpg

The show is about Mickey and the gang having a talent show but they have to go find the talent.

IMG_6942.jpg

IMG_6945.jpg

IMG_6948.jpg

Minnie stopped to look at shoes at a shoe store run by Anastasia and Drisella. They tried out for the talent show because they are such great singers but in the end Mickey asked Cinderella to be in the show.

IMG_6949.jpg

The bus broke down and Sheriff Woody came to save the day. He, Jessie, and Buzz were asked to come join the talent show with all their rope triicks and juggling.

IMG_6951.jpg

Then Tigger came and showed off his bouncing skills.

IMG_6952.jpg

IMG_6954.jpg

Bella loved it all and was bouncing, clapping, pointing and grinning the whole night.

IMG_6955.jpg

IMG_6956.jpg

Time for the talent show.

Drew's pictures are absolutely amazing! I would print and frame some of those, especially the ones of the fireworks.

Disney Live looks so cute! I saw that pictures were posted on Facebook but I wanted to come here to see them :rotfl: Bella is so cute standing up and dancing!
