Making my way out of Epcot, I stopped to take pictures of the topiaries.

Back at Pop - an ambulance is not a good sign for someone. I hope whatever happened was easily solved and the people involved were quickly back enjoying their vacation time.

Jill said they were at the kiddie pool, so I headed that way.

Was Bella bothered by the feel of the concrete? I remember Connor hating the feel of grass when he was little like that.

I love the holiday topiaries! Just yesterday, I asked my mom what kind of plants she has in front of her house and she couldn't remember the name, but she said they were the same kind that are used at Disney World for the topiaries. I wonder if she'll be sculpting some characters this summer?

I think most of you know where we were on New Year's Eve.

I'm very sad about the possibility of there being no resort specific merchandise soon. It was bad enough that they stopped it at the values, but the deluxes - we need cool souvenirs from those.

We had an 8:00 (maybe 8:15) ADR at Kona.

First, we browsed.

Jill and Brooklynn worked on our lime green DIS meet poster.

Brook met us here and took our plastic tablecloth out to the beach to stake us out a place for our DIS meet. It was great to finally meet her, and we talked as if we had known each for some time already. It was just like, yeah, here's the tablecloth, see you on the beach in a while, our dinner is almost here, yada yada.

Our Kona meal was delicious, but both Jill and I thought our steak and pork chop were just a shade less good than our very first time.

I love the topiaries! I wish I could pay the guys who maintain the landscaping for our front yard to make us Disney topiaries...

The girls are so cute. I love their matching bathing suits! I have two cousins close to my age who are just a little under two years apart, and for years, I thought they were twins because they were always dressed alike I have a picture of three of us standing in my grandmother's front yard, holding hands, and they're wearing identical outfits, just in different colors. I think I was four or five at the time and still hadn't figured out that they were not twins.

That's some rubbery type stuff around the pool.
One of my favorite 'feel' stories/pictures is of Brooklynn standing in sand for the first time at the Grand Floridian. She wouldn't move, and she was saying, "Hep me."

As for the trips, we can all chip in on a passenger van and load up and go. Trent and Jamie can meet us at Heather's or Dawn's, if they're up for it.

Yes, and it was actually pretty cool/cold most of the time we were there. Only that one day was it warm enough to swim.

Maybe after that baby comes and you are all settled in, we'll plan a meet. Brooklynn will be beside herself playing with Hollie. They will be playing dress-up and acting so silly together, I bet.

There is only one problem.
Brooklynn will be sad we she leaves her new friend.

I have seen it happening at the values and mods, and it was on the DIS Unplugged podcast that a CM told them they were discontinuing resort specific merchandise. I hope there are still some things in May, but I'm not counting on it, and even if there is, we don't have any resort hopping time in this trip.

Aw, now that I've stayed at Pop, I have a new love for any Pop pics I see. Especially when I'm in post-Disney depression!

I love the pics of Bella and the bread. She is such a sweetie. I loved how she just leaned over for me to hold her on Friday.

I missed the Kona update! That is on my really, really long list of Disney restaurants I want to try. The steak with the pineapple looks really good. I love Bella going after the bread, and Brooklynn looks so serious perusing the menu.

The idea of no more resort merchandise makes me sad. I'm still bummed that the mugs are no longer resort-specific because I really liked having various mugs from different trips with the resort theme on it. I'm pretty sure we still have some mugs from our first trip, at CBR, floating around.

Someday I will stay at the Poly. I will, I will, I will. I wish I could have been there with you guys! Sounds like NYE dinner at Kona was good...maybe someday I'll have to give it a second chance.

I have a 3-year-old story-and it's just for you MeMom.

We went to Busch Gardens on Saturday. I found a penny in the parking lot, but of course it became Johanna's right away. Well, over in the Ireland section there is a little fountain, and I asked her if she wanted to throw in her penny and make a wish. She dug it out of her pocket, threw it in, and then told me, "I wished I could have Prince Naveen!" I laughed, and I think the first thing I said was, "I'll have to tell MeMom that. She has a little crush on him."

Another great update, of course! Your Kona meal looks yummy! I can't wait to eat there in August.

Thanks for the all the Epcot pictures, especially the topiaries. When we were there in December our Epcot day was the only day it rained and it POURED ALL DAY. Not just a little rain where we could get through it, no it was raining cats and dogs. My boots were soaked and we were not exactly enjoying ourselves like that so we missed a lot of the Christmas stuff in that park. So, thanks!

Loveee the Poly, definitely my favorite resort! Can't wait to try Kona in a few months for dinner. All of your food looks delicious and that bread the size of Bella's head is hilarious! Especially since she tried to eat it
