Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

I am sorry for your friend's loss, I am sure the family is glad he is no longer suffering.

Thanks for the coupon link Jill. I was deciding whether I could afford to buy the dvd, and now I can. :woohoo: Your update was great. I loved all your pictures.

Yes, because he has had a rough few years. His battle was not an easy one.

Enjoy your movie! Brooklynn and I watched it tonight.

It's a hard thing to go through :sad1:

She has cried for weeks. I know they are drained.

Brooklynn is so brave riding TT! I don't think I would have been able to go on there at her age. I love her big smile afterwards, and the posing as you guys were waiting for the bus. :rotfl:

She loves to pose!

Yeah it has been really rough with all the kiddies sick , keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get it , that's when your in real trouble !

I think you have convinced me a Charm Bracelet is def on my list for September ! I think you should def get one too !

Love your bracelet ! I'm sure it has been a lot of fun collecting all those charms !

Great update Jill :thumbsup2

Love the pictures of Brooklyn on Test Track

Figment is such a fun ride , although I do miss the original .

The girls coordinating suits are adorable

I hope you stay healthy. :thumbsup2

I enjoy seeing Jill's updates, too. It's fun to see what they were doing at times when we we different ways.

I will be praying for your friend:hug:

Thank you.

Glad to hear Trent is doing good.

Love all the Epcot pics. Wow 225 minute wait for Soarin:scared1: Why would anyone wait that long:confused3

MeMom I am sorry to hear you were sick:flower3: Hope you are feeling much better now.

Well I have to bring my DS (17 yrs old) to the store to buy his "girlfriend" a gift.:rolleyes1 Have a great rest of the week MeMom!!

We Skyped for a few minutes tonight, but it kept cutting out, so after six minutes, we just quit. He got to see Brooklynn being silly for a few minutes.

How many, many times I have been to buy girlfriend presents, too! :)

:grouphug: I will be thinking of them and sending some good thoughts.

Thank you so much.

Loved all the pictures of the girls! So sweet!:goodvibes

My condolences to your friend and her family. I know when my mom passed that although I was heartbroken, I also found solace in knowing that she wasn't suffering anymore.

They will find comfort in each other. They are in shock. They really always thought this was just a bad dream.

My SIL had never been to WDW or on a family vacation either...she was soo excited to be on her first family vacation at 26! And she had a blast!

I know that made everyone feel so good!

Glad to see that Brooklyn liked Test Track. My brother wanted to take my nephew on it who is only a couple days older than brooklyn. I thought he would get scared..not used to that kind of ride...but in the end we never got to do it because the only other times we were in Epcot...it was raining pretty good. Next trip he will be much older...so he can definitely go then.

Is Bella as big of a water-bug as Brooklyn? SHe looked like she was loving the water. Caleb was never much of a fan of the pool but loves his bath...go figure??

THey looked really cute in their matching swimsuits!

I'll have to let Jill answer the waterbug question. What little time I was with them, she didn't seem to be real excited, but it's a big pool for a little girl. Give her another year, and she'll be prancing around with the rest of them.

so sorry to hear about your friends brother. they'll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope they find some comfort that he is no longer in pain.

I know they will. They have a strong faith.

Man, I really have to stay on top of your TR. If I even blink, I get 10 pages behind!;)

The pool pictures are precious! They look so sweet in their matching suits. I always wanted to have two girls to dress in matching clothes.

That wait time on Soarin' was insane! I have never seen a wait time like that. It is hard for me to believe that people would stand there that long.

I looked briefly at Trent's blog. Looks like he is very happy and doing well. I hope all of you are too!

It looks like Jamie is going to keep us very up-to-date about what is going on, so I am appreciative of that.

My dh is really excited. My dd she doesn't know yet. We haven't decided if we are going to tell before hand or just surprise her.

Maybe tell her a little before, so she can join in on the excitement.

Bella loves the water! She was happy at first but it wasn't exactly warm weather and it was nap time. I'm sure she will have a blast this summer!

Wow! I've managed to miss a lot in only 2 days! What work will make you miss out on! ;) I'm glad to hear that things are going well for Trent! And I'm sorry to hear of your friend's loss. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

I should definately be trying the piggy bank game at Innoventions! Remind me not to tell my mum about it though or she will make me do it...I love the pictures of Brooklyn on Test Track! She is so sweet, but lucky to have such hunky young men looking after her! ;) How cute!
"Team Catch Girls" sounds like a fun game! They certainly look happy playing! And the pics in the water are very sweet! What gorgeous gorgeous girls! They look like they should be in a catalogue! :)

DaisyLove - I love your charm bracelette! I think you might be my inspiration this spring! :)

Maybe tell her a little before, so she can join in on the excitement.

Thats what I was thinking. I think I will tell her after we have it all paid off. That way if something happens and we can't go she won't be disappointed.

Going way back but somehow I missed this......

Cool displays around the top of the store.

This one is especially sad for me to see go :sad2:. I worked here for a good while and had a great time doing it! I was just at the mall today and it was all covered where it had closed :sad1: and I guess it's getting ready for some other store to move into it's spot. But all of the characters up around the top were so cool to look at! If Opry Mills had those I already don't remember :rolleyes1

I always LOVE watching the kids stand there and watch that screen :goodvibes It was SO cute to see their little faces just glued to it!

Oh, and straightening the stuffed toys was a blast too

Well I think I'm all caught up now.....sorry once again I've been MIA.

I've been off this week and you would think that I could be doing even more dis'ing than normal. But I have kept my computer upstairs and tried to do other things with my time. B/c I can waist hours on end on this thing :rolleyes1

:grouphug:  :grouphug: Just wanted to give very VERY BIG HUGS to all of you guys!!! :grouphug:  :grouphug:

And I wish I could do it in person RIGHT NOW!! But like the other readers you have.....for a prego to be reading this :sad1::sad1::sad1:...never a good ending

I can't imagine how much you guys will miss having Trent around daily, but I do know what a wonderful family (and friends) you have and will do the best job at keeping closely in touch! And I can just hear you say.....just means more trips to Orlando, which would mean DISNEY!!!

He has great friends. They all hugged me before they left. I hope they'll come by sometimes and eat my food so things will seem right.

I bet you will still have boys coming over to eat your food. You have wonderful parties to attend Memom!!

I told Jill we are totally doing some 'meet in the middle' meets in the future with some of you guys who are in Georgia! :goodvibes

Ohhhh.....maybe I could catch a ride and go visit Dawn and Heather too :yay:

Such fun....keeping little (and big) minds occupied :goodvibes
Thank you all for your well wishes for Trent. I hope to come back and tell you about the wonderful times he is having!

Can't wait to hear the stories....Jill thanks for the blog link. Will be fun keeping up with them :thumbsup2

Will be thinking of your friends family :goodvibes

Glad you are feeling better!! Hope the rest of your time off will be great!

I go away for a couple of days and get just a little behind here...ok, catching up...:surfweb:

Next thing I know she is taking off across the floor toward Brooklynn! There is now photographic eveidence of this "first"! I saw a few of the pictures when they were done and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be broke. I may have to have help deciding once I get my proofs back.

Bella's probably been wanting to do that for awhile now!

What a great way to capture the moment! :lovestruc

I hope you got my number in time. We'll be happy for pictures.

I was telling a couple of teachers about it today. I will really enjoy Skyping. :)

I didn't get it in time. :( But I hope you enjoyed the pictures yesterday. :) I ended up not taking too many on my phone, those were just some I texted to my cousin, but I'll be putting some up on my Dec TR. Flower and Garden was beautiful, as always. :flower3: I don't know if anyone has mentioned this here but they removed Zurg's jailcell from the exit of Buzz Lightyear's SRS and put up a wall with more toys for purchase. :confused3

Skyping is fun; it's the next best thing to the real thing! We Skype w/ Ramon's family that lives in Spain. Nerea's godmother is Ramon's cousin and we got Skype so she would be able to see her growing up and Nerea would be able to remember her between trips. I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Yum.

IMG_3096.jpg

Did you 'yum', too?

IMG_3102.jpg

Things to wear.

IMG_3105.jpg

YUM!! I love a good muffin, and croissants are my weakness...chocolate croissants......:faint:

Miren got the Marie pencil case this weekend - it's very cute; I thought it was a bit expensive but one of Ramon's aunts that was traveling w/ us had given me money to get her something and she really wanted it. :upsidedow

The grey shirt was my Christmas gift - I bought it on our Dec trip, I wrapped it, I put it under the tree. :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your friends brother MeMom, hugs for everyone.

Its the weekend for me today - I am so glad. Its been a long week - my hubby has been in Prague on a work trip so Toby and I have missed him very much. We have a week off next week. I tried so hard to get a last minute trip to Orlando organised but he wasn't having any of it! So I think it'll be a quiet week at home if our travel agent doesn't come up with anything today!

Jill - how long was it between Bella cruising around the sofa's and pulling her self up and moving around holding onto things before she walked? I am very excited about Toby walking!!!

xxxxx

We'll see what you think of the piggy bank activity. I'm going to be mulling around some ideas this summer of how to use something like this in my classroom next year.

The girls are very lucky to have all these big guys doting over them. :)

Thats what I was thinking. I think I will tell her after we have it all paid off. That way if something happens and we can't go she won't be disappointed.

I think she would enjoy being in on some of the planning, dreaming, and excitement when it's almost time to go.

Going way back but somehow I missed this......

Will be thinking of your friends family

We will miss Trent in the every day comings and goings, but our trips will be so much more exciting now. Brooklynn and I Skyped with him a few minutes last night. I'm glad you checked in on the blog. I think that will be fun.

Thanks for all the good thoughts for us and my friend's family.

As for the trips, we can all chip in on a passenger van and load up and go. Trent and Jamie can meet us at Heather's or Dawn's, if they're up for it.

Bella's probably been wanting to do that for awhile now!

What a great way to capture the moment!

I did enjoy the pictures! Who can't get excited about a picture going under the magical arch?!?!? :cool1:

Didn't know about Zurg's cage. That's sad - such a good photo op. I'm glad we got Bella in there before it was removed. I know they'll need more Tpy Story 3 toy space, since that place had so little, but it's too bad that had to come out. Maybe they'll put it somewhere else or bring it back in time.

Jill is a big chocolate croissant fan, too.

Little girls love pencil cases and all the stickers and crafty things. They are so easy to buy for!

Great Christmas gift for yourself! Disney presents are the best. Jill tries to convince her mother-in-law that she would be much happier with Disney gift cards in half the amount she is spending rather than some expensive something that is never going to be used.

Sorry to hear about your friends brother MeMom, hugs for everyone.

Enjoy the long weekend! That would be some quick trip planning to come up with something today and be there next week!

Bella was just being a tease. She walked to show she could, and now she just likes to smile at us while we stand on our heads trying to get her to do it again.

All caught up! The pictures of Brooklynn riding TT with her Uncle Bubby & Jarvis are too cute! Is she excited to ride Splash Mountain this summer?

Enjoy your weekend! I'm planning to spend quite of bit of time in the sun- the weather here is going to be in the 70s!

I hope you stay healthy. :thumbsup2

I enjoy seeing Jill's updates, too. It's fun to see what they were doing at times when we we different ways.

Thanks MeMom :) The kiddies are all doing better today , still have runny noses & coughs but that's the norm. , so hopefully I'm in the clear !

This is how the people behind us filled in ALL the available space

IMG_6293.jpg

don't you just love how people follow directions so well at disney world? i've gotten to where i will step over people in the 3-D shows in order to go the end of the row, like they tell you to. it's a 3-D show, people....there are no bad seats!!!

love her little face here. she looks so excited!!!

When flying around outside in the freezing cold you must scream!!!

IMG_6302.jpg

:rotfl: this is SO CUTE!

all of the pool pics are just PRECIOUS of the girls! :goodvibes

memom - praying for your friend's family. so sorry to hear of your loss.

Those big guys are wonderful with those little girls. What awesome fathers they will be! ::yes::

She has ridden Splash Mountain before, but I was sitting out with Bella so they could all ride. It's one of my favorites, so I'm looking forward to riding it with her this summer maybe. I'm a poncho rider and she doesn't like to get wet, so I'll be sure we're both safely covered up.

The sun us teasing us here. It peeks out occasionally, but then runs and hides.

Thanks MeMom :) The kiddies are all doing better today , still have runny noses & coughs but that's the norm. , so hopefully I'm in the clear !

I hope so. :)

Hey there!
Hope you are feeling well and getting ever more excited about your new adventures ahead as a mommy!

People are just too excited, too busy talking and having a good time, etc. to listen when they are at Disney World, I think. Not that it's not annoying sometime, but it's just the way it is. It's the same way at Haunted Mansion, when they tell you to fill in and people just kind of stay in lines. Those of us that 'know' just go right on up and fill in.

Brookie sure does come up with some crazy faces on that ride, doesn't she???

*****************************

For those of you who haven't seen Jamie's new blog, you might want to peek in on it. It's really cute, and today she has up a picture of some Disney eggs. I'm sure the blog is not nearly as exciting to you guys as it is to us, because it's going to help us keep up with the day to day fun they are having and keep them close, but even if you don't have a vested interest, it's still very cute! :thumbsup2

They are eating dinner with Wigd and Shocker tonight, so she hopes to have pictures of that up tomorrow. :)

Here's a little more of what we did before we met back up with Jill & family for Soarin'.

This was New Year's Eve.

IMG_3211.jpg

We were at Epcot too for NYE and boy was it crowded!!!!! :crowded: I stayed for the fireworks, which were awesome, but DH and DS went back to the room! I know you guys left and went to the Poly beach.

I was just wondering if you all to online check in or wait til you get there?

Memom---I think Caleb has your virus! LOL! My SIL took the day off (She has 4 personal days she has to use by the end of the school year) to keep Caleb and her daughter while my MIL was at a funeral. Caleb was really fussy and clingy to me when I dropped him off but we just thought he was teething pretty good. And he is never clingy...he barely notices mommy leaves in the morining...he is too busy playing with his cousin. SIL called me about 3pm to say he had gotten sick and was running 102 temp. So we are now at home...he is sitting in his chair and watching handy manny but is not moving too much...but "knock on wood" hopefully nothing else comes up! This is his first time getting the stomach flu. poor baby!

You know it's busy if Living With the Land has a wait! That's kind of what the waits looked like one of the days we were there.

I've never seen the movie after Maelstrom, either. I tend to get so irritated with the way you can only exit the ride through the theater that I just zoom right through. :rotfl:

I love that they had hats and horns available. I know my family would have snagged some!
