Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

Let me refresh your memory about DTD MeMom. This was the night that we got on the bus at Marketplace and when the bus stopped at Pleasure Island and people started getting on there were the boys! WE realized that we had been walking in one door of a store as they were walking out the other door and vice versa. Jarvis got the Mickey head for himself and Trent teased him about going into a diabetic coma!

It did look like some teasing was going on with that Mickeyhead treat!
I thought Jarvis was taunting Trent with it though.....

We went out in the rain and tried to get the errands run. Most of them are accomplished! Even some that weren't planned got done, like some new Disney jammies for the trip!
:cutie:

Great pictures of Epcot, the Candlelight Processional, and the fireworks! I love the moon pictures! I wouldn't mind having one of those Mickey treats that Jarvis made! Man, that sure looks good!

That is a precious picture of Trent with Bella -- love the smile on her face!

Wigd, where did you find Disney pajamas?

Love your moon over...pictures!

Drew's pics are amazing! :goodvibes He is one talented guy. Does he plan to pursue a photography-related career? He really seems to have an eye for it.

Walmart has bunches! All kinds too! :cutie:

I just love night pictures at Epcot!!!! Sooo pretty!!!!! Especially the moon over Mexico and Norway!!

Yum, I sure could use a mickey rice krispy treat about now....:lmao:

Drew's pictures were wonderful especially the fountain ones. Has he entered any competitions? When you do your fountain collage you will need to add a few of Drew's fountain pictures.

Shame on you girls for getting such big laughs out of that poor lady's misfortune! Tsk, tsk, tsk. :sad2:

I read the story, and it does seem like she handled it all with humor. I haven't made it to either water park yet, except for the bus rides there to pick up and drop off, of course, but if I ever do, I will be tightly bound in clothing. I would love to do the water slides. I think they'd be too fun!

As a swimmer and around a pool often, I have had the occasional wardrobe malfunction but nothing like that!!!!
At the waterpark we see the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I always wear a good snug one piece when I go. The worst I get is a wedgie from the slides.
Remember Stacy when she comes down Summitt Plummit? The first thing she does is get THAT wedgie out!!

My giggles come from a visual of her grabbing her suit with her toes. The voice of God gets me too.I can only imagine trying to grab your suit and pull it up while you are going down the slide.

The only thing that would have made it worse was if the suit came down without her.

Absolutey mortifying!!!

We made it to the earlier show that night I think. We had time to make it over to the story teller from the UK later that night so I am guessing it was the earlier show.
We stood on the right side of the theater.

Later we discover the smallest bathroom in EPCOT. That trip we encountered the 2 smallest bathrooms in EPCOT. The 2 seater in Japan and the 3 seater in Morrocco.

All these pics of Epcot just reminded me...I really hope it doesn't hate us this trip! :lmao:

The Epcot pictures are AMAZING. I especially love those last two fountain ones.

Goofy's Candy Co. looks really really good right about now -- I could definitely go for one of those rice crispy treats!

The fountain is so pretty. I love the sound of the water at Epcot as you near the fountain.

Maybe you could make a Mickey krispy treat at home. I think Brooklynn and I may try that when she stays with me next week.

i sure do! i could definitely use a mickey krispie covered in white chocolate, pecans and drizzled with caramel. i don't know why i torture myself so.

love the moon pictures at epcot! and i always love seeing the tree there - it's so pretty, especially at night.

and drew's pictures were great. very cool that you guys got to see angela bassett. i think she's really talented. :thumbsup2

It was a pretty night - not too cold as we sat out and watched the Processional.

I don't watch too much TV and don't go out to movies, so though I have heard the name, I really don't even know what those actors/singers/whatever they are do or have been in. Jill, Trent, and Drew knew. I didn't, but I'm just aways happy to see the CP no matter who is doing it.

Memom Drew's picture are gorgous. He really has a good eye. I love your "moon over..." pictures. I can't wait to see the Candlelight Processional, it seems like a great way to hear the Christmas story.

It's very touching to me. I love the music, and I think it is awesome when the crowd softly sings along to "Silent Night"

.

I remember now. I remember you saying, "Look who is getting on here." I also remember us being grateful to have help with unloading the stroller and bags when we got off at Pop. :thumbsup2

Trent rarely eats sweets. He has his certain things he likes, like his sister's chocolate oatmeal cookies and banana pudding. He likes brownies occasionally, but he is not often found letting sugar pass his lips.

I'm glad you got things done and got safely home, then. :)

I liked Drew's fireworks pictures. I can never get anything good when it comes to fireworks.

That is a sweet picture, only I wish it would have been after the much needed haircut. Maybe we can get another one this weekend. Trent kisses on those girls or picks at them every time he walks by. He adores them.

That's what he wants more than anything. Whether it is realistic, I don't know. Photography may have to be a side job. He's shooting a dog show this Saturday. He just loves to take pictures of anything.

Walmart has bunches! All kinds too! :cutie:

I saw some Disney pajamas at Walmart not long ago. I'm anxious to see which ones you got.

Guess I will be headed to the pajamas section on Saturday! :thumbsup2

You can wear them for Pajama Day at school. If you have a Pajama Day, that is. We have it during Read Me Week.

The moon did look cool over those buildings, didn't it?

You could eat the whole Mickey bar without guilt, since you're eating for two!

Drew's pictures were wonderful especially the fountain ones. Has he entered any competitions? When you do your fountain collage you will need to add a few of Drew's fountain pictures.

I will probably use several of Drew's when the time comes. Right now, I can't afford to buy a picture frame, so it's going to have to wait a while. When my income tax comes back and I pay my credit card down, I'll be able to breathe again.

Drew hasn't entered any photo things that I know of, but I guess he could have. His Disney pictures are like mine so often - on the run and not clear. The ones he does at home with a tripod and proper lighting look much better.

I bet you do see plenty of everything. I know people are different, but I am amazed at how much skin and/or flab some people are willing to expose to the general public at waterparks and pools.

I haven't been to either of those restrooms. I'll have to find them!

Epcot will like you. It will have many beautiful flowers and cute topiaries to show you this time. I haven't checked the forecast, since I don't have a trip. I'll have to peek in and see what it's going to be like for you guys.

As soon as Trent knows what his schedule is, I'll let you know. He and Jamie are definitely planning on meeting up with whoever wants to meet. :goodvibes

This is the last day of school for students before Spring Break. Teachers have an in-service tomorrow. The kids will be wild today. Some will not be there, as they will begin travels today. Many tutoring kids will not come this afternoon, so the groups should be small, which will be nice.

Jill and I Skyped last night. Brooklynn had the biggest smile on her face and took about two dozen pictures of my face on her laptop. She wanted to see the cat. I turned on the Disney Channel and showed her my TV was showing the same thing as hers. She thought that was neat. It was fun to see her dancing around the room, and I got to see smiling, but then fussy Bella right before she was put to bed.

Have a great day, everyone!

Nope, we don't have pajama day at the middle school. Some of our girls lose their sense of what is appropriate wear for that kind of day, so we don't bother with it.

Enjoy your last day with the kids before spring break.

Oh, and by the way, I do not need any baby wishes at Wilderness Lodge. Just sayin' and all. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Loved your WS night pictures. I adore WS and it is even prettier at night! I wish we could have seen the CP. It looks great. Loved the picture of the tree from the bottom looking up! :thumbsup2 Hope you are having a great week. I can't believe it is already Thursday!

Yeah, I guess middle school might not be as safe as elementary when it comes to nightwear.

You might want to rethink the Wilderness Lodge fountain. When Connor moves to Orlando for a job and a girl someday, you might wish you still had someone rattling around making messes at home. Of course, in your case, you will still have Charles to make messes and rattle around, so that might be enough.

I have quarters ready to go for Mother's Day, so just let me know if you change your mind. :rotfl:

Time flies some weeks, doesn't it? It is almost the weekend again. Jill's coming, and we're going to hang out one last time before Trent leaves on Sunday morning. I want him to get a fairly early start so that he can drive in the daylight and get a full night's rest before he starts work.

If you ever get a chance to see the Candlelight Processional, go for it. It is a heartwarming experience, for me anyway.

Bella had every right to be fussy last night since she is currently running a fever of 102.1. We will be heading to the doctor later this afternoon to find out what is going on. Whatever it is needs to huury up and run its course. She cannot take ANY medication (over the counter or prescription) after March 30th because of her surgery.

I enjoyed looking at your evening pictures from Epcot; so pretty!

Isn't Skype the coolest thing? All three times my stepson was deployed to Iraq, we could email and talk with him. My grandfather, who fought in WWII, is continually amazed at how things are so different today than when he was overseas! It's still incredibly hard to have your loved ones so far away, but so nice to see and talk with them!
