I loved the Mickey dishes. My nephew gave the Mickey hand and Mickey pants pot-holders for Christmas and they are hanging in my kitchen now to remind me of Disney.

Guess you're going to get a snow day again. I'm sure you guys will be closed on Friday. It's lining up to maybe be one of those really good storms for us! I've wanted snow like crazy, but I'm afraid this is going to be ice .
And another REALLY frustrating thing is I have a good chance of going to the UK game Sat in Lexington and I bet we aren't going to be able to get there ....I will be VERY sad!!!! GREAT win tonight though!! It was AWESOME!!

Yes, I think that would be plenty for a Spring Break trip!

I wish I would have gotten a few when I was there that night, then. Unfortunately, I have none of them now, nor do I have any of the similar forms of currency that are accepted out here in the real world. I 'feasted' at WDW during October and December, so I have to 'famine' now to make up for it.

I'm so excited for my trip next January - whether it be solo or with my husband. I'll actually get a chance to look at all of these wonderful things you post pictures of instead of feeling like I have to keep an eye on my boys constantly.

I think you will enjoy strolling along getting to look at some window displays and doing some shopping - things that are not popular favorites with three little men who are anxious to get to rides!

Great updates and so many wonderful photos!!! Love all the shopping pics, it is so fun to window shop at WDW! I like those POP trees! So retro!

And you got great photos of mainstreet and the castle! I have never had dinner at CP, but it looked like fun!

WDW shopping is fun, even if you don't make purchases. It's more fun when you do, of course. but fun enough when you don't.

Crystal Palace is a good meal. I hope you get to try it sometime.

I might have whispered a 'thank you' to his picture that night. I am very glad there is such a thing as Disney World. I am thankful for the many good times we have spent there, and I am thankful for the friendships that have evolved with others who feel the same way.

Just take old clothes and toss them away after you wear them. That leaves plenty of room in the suitcaes for the return.

A trip to Lexington could be tricky this weekend.

We have the 90% prediction of a winter storm watch here tonight and tomorrow. The teachers and students are abuzz with excitement at the prospect of being home tomorrow. I'll curb my excitement until I am propped up in bed Dising tomorrow at 6:30 instead of in the freezing car driving out of the neighborhood.

Looks like by your pictures that they have some new stuff out for the make you own ears . I enjoyed looking at all the kitchen stuff def have to get some of that on our next trip. Love the pictures of Walt you photographed by the Train Station , never knew those were there either .

Those are great pictures MeMom! I can definitely tell you were prolonging your time in the magic, not wanting to go back to your room. There's nothing wrong with that! Am I the only one who gets a little weepy when I see pictures of Walt? I can just imagine the love he had for his park and his characters. One our last trip, I bought a coffee mug that's black and white. It has Walt standing on Main Street, holding Mickey's hand. That's the stuff this wonderful place is made of folks!

Your pictures have convinced me on a Dec trip and I think DH is on board now. I took the approach that if we go when she is out on break, that is one week we don't have to worry about childcare since we both work. It worked like a charm. We will look into the first week Abby is out for Christmas break, but want to be out of there before that Sat before Christmas. I hope the school comes out with the schedule soon. I do have until June for the 6month mark. I could just use this past years, but would love to have the exact dates.

It will be interesting to see what Murfreesboro gets since we are right at that line from snow to sleet. I hope we get the fun stuff, but I will have to work again (my boss is going to FL tonight - arrgghhhh). If it starts to sleet/ice mid day I will leave early. DH will stay home all day if Abby's school closes.

Earlier in the week, they were predicting freezing rain for us, but now it looks like they are saying it will miss us and get you guys. We are right on that line between TN and AL, so it will be hit-or-miss!

I'm all for another day out of school, as long as my electricity stays on!

Yes, Disney definitely provides ways for you to bring the magic home with you. It might be as small as some measuring cups or a coffee mug, or it might be as big as an expensive castle and Main Street display.

As many times as I have looked at the cookbooks, I have not bought one in Disney World. I have gotten a couple off of Amazon.

I would have stayed later, but I had not slept much in two or three nights, so I was tired.

The older I get and the more memories I make, the more I appreciate Walt DIsney's vision of having a clean, family-friendly place to enjoy with those you love most.

We're sort of on a broad line, too. It seems like we always are. I'm happy with a snow day, but I wish we could keep our temperatures up right around the freezing mark instead of at 8 degrees. That does much damage to my heating bill.

We have been very fortunate through the years. We have lost power less than five times in 23 years that we have lived there.

I hope you get your snow day tomorrow and I hope it stays away from us as forecasted. I am so over winter this year! 5 snow days and just as many late starts/early outs. I don't mind missing 2 hours here and there (especially since I get paid for a full day ) but every snow day makes the school year longer!

Love your CP dinner pictures! I love CP and will most likely miss eating there this trip Tigger was lets just say a bit overly attentive to my niece in October a bit frisky you might say.
