this is so fun! and i spied a huge bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release in the midst of all the supplies
Yep. He'll need a lot of that. Luckily, his job will allow him to wear the kind of clothes that don't need ironing, but he can use that for church and going out clothes.
When it's time for him to buy his own, he can check out the Dollar Store kind Jamie's mom was talking about. We just didn't have time to go to the Dollar Store, so I paid big bucks for the real stuff.
Good job on the puzzle Brooklynn!

Love the picture of Jill and Bella.
What a fun night! Everyone did a great job decorating their boxes!
I love having the house full of life - lots of young people laughing and talking and eating. It costs a lot to feed a big crew, but it's worth every penny and more to have them around.
What a fun way to say see you later, and best wishes. The pictures showed all the love that is shared by your family and friends. Trent is really blessed.
I hope he feels blessed. He does have much love from us, and we have much from him.
Doggone, it, you made me start crying again!
I love your get-togethers and parties. That was such a good idea for Trent!
Maybe one time when you are traveling through this way, you can join us. We'd love to have everybody who ever comes through Nashville on the way to Disney World.
What a sweet & thoughtful get-together you had for Trent! Bella looked like she wanted to get down from the couch and join in on the fun!
She would have a great and very messy time down there. Thankfully, she seemed pretty satisfied just to watch all the action.
What a wonderful day and evening you had with your family!
Lots of fun and lots of food - it was a good night.
Another fun evening at your house MeMom! I'm sure Bella would have wound up inside one of the boxes if she had been down on the floor!
What great pictures and I can't wait to meet the rest of the crew over the 4th of July!
I'll be thinking of you as the days go by this week I'm sure you will have some rough moments....
We're all looking forward to the Fourth. Hopefully, Trent and Jamie can meet you and others next week!
I've been crying all morning back here in my bedroom, since the girls left. I know I am going to see Trent as often as possible, and I know this is a good move for him, and I know I like what I see in the way he and Jamie treat each other, so I know it is all good, but it's just going to be rough getting through this initial transition. I look like a raccoon with these dark circles under my eyes, and he's not even leaving until next Sunday! Silly me! Once he gets gone, I think it'll all work out just fine. If he had to move away, can't think of a better place he could have moved. Well, Huntsville, maybe, but you know what I mean. We'll get accustomed to the change after he leaves better than we're doing before he leaves, I think, if that makes sense.
The thought of you getting to see him for me next week makes me happy, so I hope that works out. Jamie is excited about it, too, so we'll let you know what kind of work schedule they have going next week as soon as they know.
Your parties look like so much fun! I'm sure Trent will appreciate having all those necessities already purchased once he gets down there.
I'll be thinking of you guys this week. I know there will be some bittersweet and exciting moments!
Rachel
He was happy with everything. Now he just has to get his other must haves - chicken, eggs, salad, broccoli, bread, and milk.
Aw looks like it was a lot of fun, MeMom.
More fun than just handing him sacks full of groceries. We enjoyed it.
I really hope you guys can meet Trent and Jamie and Marc and Anita next week. A picture of all of you together will bring huge smiles for Jill and me.
What a great party and a great family you have!
I am very blessed with a great family. Very, very blessed.
Actually, I think Brandon and Jarvis enjoyed the box-filling activity as much as Parker. Parker loved it, and he was helping fill boxes everywhere. He was so cute.
He has a football game Saturday, so he's leaving Sunday. I think after he is actually gone, it'll all be fine. It's just the anticipation of it all, you know.

I think we just have to face the fact that I am going to cry a lot this week, and that is to be expected, and it's all going to be okay. It's a good kind of crying, because he's going off to good things.
Jill and the girls and I are going to Memphis this weekend. I think she's coming up here Friday to see Trent one more time, and we'll leave early Saturday morning for the zoo. That way, when Trent leaves the house on Sunday, I won't be here to be bawling and making it hard for him, and when I leave him on Saturday, we'll be leaving to do something fun with the girls, and that'll make it easier on Jill and me, too. Sounds like a good plan all the way around.
