NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Which part of this violates Amex terms? Cardpointers in general or large purchases of gift cards?
From the Amex Offers Terms & Conditions: (I have bolded the most relevant part)

Since this sam's deal is so popular seems worth mentioning to anyone with multiple amex cards you can add the same amex offer to multiple cards with the Cardpointers+ service. I bought $1000 eDGC at 10% off on Best Buy's website a week or so ago and now have a 10% at Home Depot available on 6 different amex cards for a another possible $1500 in DGCs. Cardpointers is a subscription service but i have just been using a 7 day free trial with a new email address whenever one of these deals needs to be loaded on a bunch of cards. Amex normally limits you to 1 card per offer without it
No way in heck would I play that game. Amex shutdowns are quite real and this begs for it. Amex specifically reprogrammed their offers a few years ago to make them 1 per SSN and at the same time clawed back a recent staples offer from people who had hit it on multiple cards. So to me this isn’t a grey area, they aren’t gonna like it when they finally catch it.

Now, if you’re already playing shutdown risk games (I won’t elaborate IYKYK) then the risk calculation is different.

I’m still getting the error message on the screen after trying to log into Disneygiftcard.com. So Disney!
I’m so sorry! I was able to log on yesterday and transfer all 4 new e-DGCs to one of my physical cards without a problem, a little longer than 24 hours after we received them. I hope that if you do the usual - switch browsers, clear cookies, etc. - you’ll be able to log on.

i tried a few different ways and different devices, no luck.

@bmr1591 I support your first theory bc the same exact thing happened to my husband and I. I am Plus, was able to buy 4 online and 4 in store. My husband is not, was able to buy 4 online, and then his attempt to buy 4 in store failed. His GCs rang up at $190 and manager refused to override. When I showed her my receipt she said I was just lucky and that it must have been a glitch. 🤔

Lots of us use card pointers so it will auto add all the offers.

Using cardpointers to add offers quickly is not an issue. However, using it to add the same offer to multiple cards under the same SS# is obviously a way of circumventing the Amex system (which only allows one offer per SS#) and would clearly be a violation of Amex terms, which is what the original comment said they were using cardpointers to do.

On another note, OfficeDepot has free gifts that you get when purchasing an order over a certain amount. In July 2024, I made a $125 purchase which entitled me to a free $25 gas gift card, so I chose a $25 Shell gift card, since there is a Shell station not far from my house.

Well, I received the gift card around a week later and then the next day 2 more gift cards came in the mail and the day after 2 more and then 1 more every few days. All in all, they ended up sending me 9 SheIl gift cards. I didn't complain.

I was saving those gift cards to use on the occasions that we needed gas and were not going anywhere near a Costco, since Shell is around 40 cents more than Costco.

I still have 4 of them left, but it seems like in May of 2025, every one of them got drained. Since the gift cards were in my possession the whole time (the Pin isn't even removed yet), I'm guessing either the crooks are able to guess the card numbers or some Shell employee or someone else hacked into their system. I would recommend not buying Shell gift cards.

Personally, I am not losing sleep over this since I did not actually buy these cards and still got more than I was supposed to!

It seems I can do an add-on membership for the rest of the year for about $20. Does anyone know if that entitles the new add on to get 4 more GCs?

Edit: Forget it just realized they're out of stock. But interested in the answer anyway for future reference.

I added a household member during a previous sale with a new member number and it limited us to one set of four. Not sure if anything changed.

Well, I got 12 Sams disney gift cards by using friends and family accounts and failed to get any in store @ $180. Only 11 of the 12 will activate. The one card that won't activate with money is from Friday morning (72 hours ago)... Anybody else have cards still not loaded with money?

Last week I did the buy $100 in ANY gift card, get $25 at Shoprite to spend this week. I used my card and my dad's card (he's on a cruise this week so it was useless for him. YAY, more for me!)

$200 Disney gift cards
2 boxes of Lucky Charms ($1.99 each, digital coupon for $1 off of 2)
1 gallon of milk
8 Axe Deodorants ($4 for 2 with digital coupon, can do the offer 4 times)
4 Tresseme Shampoos (2 for $7 with digital coupon)
2 pounds of frozen shrimp

Total out of pocket was $202.30. And then I got $1 for the cereal on the Ibotta app, but I can't cash that out yet so I won't count it.

Thanks to those that pointed out this offer! I try to catch it whenever it is at $20, getting it with the $25 was quite a score!

So my wife and I both bought 4 online. When I went in store yesterday, they came up $190, despite the advertised price. Sales rep said it’s because my account triggered the 4 limit and I couldn’t get any more at 180. My wife used her account and they were all at 180.

Three options for what happened:

1. Plus members are able to go online and in store (she’s Plus, I’m not).

2. The 3/1 system works if you do it online and in store. She bought 3, then 1 online. When it didn’t let us get them again, I bought four at once on my account.

3. The system sees she purchased hers Thursday night when it went live for Plus members, but since the sale ‘officially’ started Friday morning, it didn’t code that she’d used the deal yet.

I’m not sure which (if any) of these are correct, but just some data points.
What was advertised is not sold in Sam's Club Warehouses.
It specifically advertised eGift cards at the price of $180 limited to 4 per membership.
I am glad people were able to get the physical cards in store for the $180 as well but that was not what was advertised.

So could the $25 off from Shop Rite be used to buy only a Disney gift card?
