Okay

Maybe it's just me........

I am planning my stay for June and my AP runs out half way through this - I want to book Disney accommodation, hopefully with the Best Rate Program but clearly need an AP for all of this. Which means I want to renew my AP but according to the Passholder website I can only do this 30 days out - with the BRP needing to be booked 60 days out I'm well confused!!

Please someone show me the light!!

They will let you make the entire booking on the old annual pass and assume that you will be renewing, but they will also check the renewale for the dares after the renewal.

So just go ahead and make it when you can with the existing AP :)

Thanks! I forgot to add I'm making it slightly more complicated!! I am splitting between resorts (ASMo, POR and WL) - the last two will be outside the AP dates as it stands........!!!

Also, another question - if I am resort hopping like that, do I need to fully check out/in of each or do they transfer stuff for you?

That will not make any difference. The system will need you to have a valid AP when making to booking, if it is due to expre they assume you are rennewing an check you have renewed when you move to the new resort, if they cannot see in on the computer.

We are going in Sept and my AP runs out 2 days before we arrive, so I will renew when I get there, but I will still be using the BRP. We also split between different resorts.

When you resort hop Bell services will transfer your luggage to your next hotel (just call them to arrange pickup on the morning you transfer), if you have left a credit card imprint when you check into your resort you do not need to formally check out. You will have the final bill fixed to your door the morning you are due to leave.

After getting rid of your cases to Bell Services you can go and enjoy a day in the parks and then return to your new resort in the afternoon to check in. Your bags should be waiting for you in Bell Services at your new resort, so as soon as you get your room number let them know and they will bring your cases to your new room :)

Simple :)

Sorry to jump on the thread but I'm in a slightly different position - our AP's run out towards the end of August which is around the time I need to book our Christmas stay on BRP, I will be buying AP vouchers when we are there in August but don't want to activate them until December.

If I manage to book BRP while I AP's are still valid can I then enter an AP voucher number onto the AP site for the booking to continue???

You can use the voucher number, but it has to be a postal number not the code you get in a e-mail, so choose the post out option.

Added on.....

It looks like the BRP has changed, there is not need to book 60 days ahead anymore, it also hints that there may be AP discount codes out furter in advanace, as it is saying that they will be out months in advance, but that may just mean the status quo.

I just read over on the codes board that the BRP is no more.

Thanks I just read that - the 60 day thing doesn't affect me other than in relation to renewing my AP - I want to get them booked as soon as the codes for June come out - which will hopefully be soon!

Thanks for all the feedback!
