Riding Bikes at WL

My husband is an avid bike rider and is wanting to bring his bike along on our next WDW trip (yes he does, can you believe it?). Anyway, I know the WL has trails but would he be allowed to ride? Is there only a certain path for bikers?

Well your husband is surely dedicated. Yes, there is a very nice trail that goes back into Fort Wilderness. There are enough paths/trails in FW to keep him busy alllll day! Just for convenience sake, he might want to consider renting one. It would be one less thing to take along. They have nice bikes for rent!

you can get their $199 - rent and boat thing - it is for the length of your stay for up to 5 people - most of the bikes and boats are included.

Is the rent and boat thing for $199 good at all the resorts or just the one where you buy it? We are staying at WL but may want to do the activities at other resorts too. Also, it is just me and my DS, do you think it makes sense to buy this package?
