It would make more sense for beer manufacturers to label their beer as vegan friendly vs plant based.

The reason why it’s becoming more common to label things as “plant based” instead of “vegan” is because many people eat a plant based diet but do not consider themselves vegan. Vegan is more an ethical thing than a dietary thing. (Ex. Vegans won’t wear leather or wool, but people who eat a plant based diet may.)

Plus something labeled vegan is the kiss of death. People seem to see the word Vegan and won’t buy it.

It's actually more bitter the more you use. Very small amounts are actually sweet.

I've read that it may be kind of like cilantro. To some people it's terribly bitter, to others it's sweet.
