While I wouldn't use the trays, I would so use the first one with the placemat. What is it called and where do you buy them!
We have a local food and wine festival and they pass out these plates with a slot to hold a wine glass kind of like this

If you find the blog that has the preview of souvenirs, you will see that they will be selling something similar, though plastic.
They sold them last year, too. Last year's had a list of the booths and you could check them off as you tried the food which I thought was really neat. I'd pick that over a trash can simply because I would be upset if someone was blocking my ability to use one for it's intended purpose so I wouldn't do that to others.
Are you married to Hyacnith Bucket?![]()
I didn't see anyone using those slotted trays last year. They really aren't practical for F&W. They would be great for a frou-frou cocktail party where all the apps are in teeny pieces or on toothpicks.
F&W food isn't simple too eat that way. It' not canape size.
I need to set my food down, and usually I need to cut it into bites. You can't do that on a hand balanced tray. Even if you set the tray on a table, you have to remove your wine...and now you have a tray to haul around to each booth. Too much trouble to me. I like to travel light. I hope they will have more high top tables this year, they are perfect for F&W munching!
Loved the Hyacinth reference!!![]()
If she does all that, you must come back with pictures!!! I will be at Epcot Saturday, but I won't have a tape measure with me.
LOL, if only they served the wine in stemware like that at F&W (but then again I wouldn't be able to drink as many if they were like that)
