AN UPDATE - ALERT THE PRESS!!!!! :rotfl:

I know you have had your hands full lately and this was finally able to be done after picture, internet and time constraints. :flower3:

Ah yes the Marvical express, looks like a fine way to ride :drive:

Jen and Stitch - ( well I assume since no picture) made it there alive and well so you must have been successful.

Garden Grill- I did do that meal once, a long time ago. Loved the character interaction but I I think the menu was a bit different and I think the kids had issues with the menu. For the record if it is not Steak or chicken tenders or touches anything else on the plate they have issues. :lmao: ( Or at least did, they have less issues now but not much)

Yes put me in the camp with loving Jonathan's shirt.

:faint: hey you are still around :rotfl2:

nice you offered to take the ladies to the airport!
we've never eaten at the Garden Grill and not thinking we will either...too many other great options in Epcot! fun photos of you all, great the boys still like posing with the Characters!

I just came across your report and I'm all caught up. Now I'll be anxiously awaiting your next update! What a nice family you have.

Wow when you said this one moves fast you were right from now on I will have to remember to keep my head, hands, arms kegs and feet inside the TR at all times well the TR is in motion.:rotfl2:

Marv, I was just joking how it takes you and I a year to write a TR and here you go and post another update...I guess I better hurry up and get working on mine. I have always wanted to try the Garden Grill and it looks like it might be a lot of fun, at least you all seem to be enjoying yourselves! Love the boys playfulness...wonder where they get that from? I think we would enjoy it, the food looked good. We are simple folks and comfort foods make me smile, so do characters! (Must be why I love you :stir::duck:).

How sweet of you to provide the marvical Express to Jen and Stitch for their ride to the airport. I always knew you had a sweet side to you.
:ssst: You trying to ruin my bad boy rep around here??? :confused3

And please notice that I did NOT :faint: that you ACTUALLY did an update.
Yes, but the fact you mention that you didn't mention says you reaaaaalllllllyyyyyyy wanted to!!! :sad1:

Great update!!

Had to laugh so much about the Marvical Express! It's great that you got to spend some more time with Jen!
Thanks! Yes, so far all of my DISmeets have been special, and it always seems there is much more time you would love to spend with new friends than the time available to do so. ::yes::

Loved the pictures from your meal, it is so rare to see pictures from Garden Grill. However, it confirmed it for me that I have no interest in that meal, only the salad, bread and dessert sound good to me...
The food was good, but nothing that really stands out about it. I would eat there again sometime in the future, but there are a lot of other ADRs I would choose to make first!

My first thought when I saw Jonathan's t-shirt was how fitting it was!! I can understand why he loves this shirt! And Andrew looks like he got some serious tan, I guess that's all his sports that keep him out in the sunshine so much?
Having met Jonathan I don't think you had to work too hard to make that connection!

As for Andrew, it seems like that child can walk outside for just a few minutes when the weather just starts getting warm again and come back in looking tan! He does spend a lot of time outside though, which is good. Not hard for him to keep getting darker for sure!

For your kids the character interaction will be great! The food was good, and the items they grow in the greenhouse are really fresh! I wondered if the fish came from one of the tanks in Living with the Land......

Only if they came from Candi...............and even then they would probably only purchase fare for three............. :rolleyes1

AN UPDATE - ALERT THE PRESS!!!!!

I know you have had your hands full lately and this was finally able to be done after picture, internet and time constraints. :flower3:
Having my hands full is definitely an apt description of how my time has been occupied lately!!! :faint:

Ah yes the Marvical express, looks like a fine way to ride :drive:

Jen and Stitch - ( well I assume since no picture) made it there alive and well so you must have been successful.
Potential new career path maybe??? Yes, we all made it safely to the airport, and Marv made it safely back to OKW afterwards........ but then, I guess since I am still here you figured that one out already!!! :rolleyes2

The food was good, but totally agree on many other better options!!!

I just came across your report and I'm all caught up. Now I'll be anxiously awaiting your next update! What a nice family you have.
:welcome: Ann..........and thanks!!! I'm sure there are a few on here who will tell you not to wait TOO anxiously for that next update though........ :(

Wow when you said this one moves fast you were right from now on I will have to remember to keep my head, hands, arms kegs and feet inside the TR at all times well the TR is in motion.:rotfl2:
And don't forget those safety belts and harnesses.........

You were duly warned............. :rotfl2:

Wow, you gave them a ride to the airport for old groceries and spoiled milk? I would have thought you'd at least hold out for some extra FastPasses or something.

Glad you got to spend more time with DIS-buddies.

And Garden Grill looks like a nice meal. I haven't tried that one yet, but it looks like a good spot.

As far as the Hidden Mickey goes, do you need special 3-D glasses to see it or something?:confused3

Well, well, well. You FINALLY got to this part of the trip? Took ya long enough!

:rotfl:

Okay, okay. I'm one to talk seeing how my presence on the boards has diminished significantly.

Great update though Marv. Thanks again for taking us to the airport! You forgot to mention the little parting gift we gave you...... :worried:

Amazed you are the first one to mention the Hidden Mickey. I was wondering if anyone paid any attention, or everyone just found it and didn't think it necessary to comment??? :confused3

Don't need special 3-D glasses or anything, but it IS very difficult to find, especially if you don't know exactly where to look. Remember I said it is a "classic" original Mickey Mouse, that did look a bit different than what he evolved into and what you are familiar with today. In the second (zoomed in) picture I posted of the mural, not counting the partial leaf at the top, the top of his ears appear below the seventh leaf, his eyes and bottom of ears below the eigth, and his mouth angled to the right with a longer nose and black tip below the ninth. Hope that helps.

Well, well, well. You FINALLY got to this part of the trip? Took ya long enough!

Welcome back Jen! I have missed you here and on FB my friend! I do get the occasional poke from Stitch.....

OMG, I feel awful for not mentioning my gift. :( It was a very special first for me! For those who are reading along, it was (and is) a Vinylmation of the Canadian flag. I will try and get a picture uploaded to PB and try to at least add it to my next update! I have since gotten a matching one for the USA, and have two other countries that I plan to get that represent some other dear friends here on FB!

I am so sorry Jen (and Stitch)! :flower3: I was not slighting your gift on purpose. All I can do is plead senility from getting older, or the fact that it has been waaaayyyyyy too long since that special day!!! :faint: :sad1:

:headache:

either all or nothing mister, we are a bundle package.:thumbsup2
You ARE a bundle of something, that's for sure!!! :rotfl2:

Wow (picking herself off the floor ) A Marv Update:rotfl2:

So the Marvical Express went into operatiom that day!!!:goodvibesGreatpix of Jen !!! ooh and you too!!:lmao:

We ate at the Garden Grill once, I really like the character interaction as you are not rushing upto or back from the buffet , as you said the food is confort food . I enjoye it but judy claims she didn't like family style meals , I really think it ws the catfish that put her off !!;):lmao: We were Family of the day too, so it was special !!
Last year we did OHanas and I was fully expecting "I don't like Family meals ," But she LOVED it , I think the potstickers won her over !!!:rotfl2: The Bread pudding was also a huge hit!!

Thought I'd come out of lurkdom for a change. ::yes::

Garden Grille brought back memories of when my very adults kids were munchkins - cannot recall the name back then, but no characters. We enjoyed the movement and the kids would watch for something familiar to see how many times we made the full circle. Looks like it was a fun meal - I've been there once since it became a character meal and really enjoyed Chip N Dale since we don't see them much...and nice the characters were never in a hurry.

Well, believe me, I tried to find the Hidden Mickey...I found Roger Rabbit and Donald,:rotfl: but where the heck is Mickey?? I even tried the squinting technique.:confused3

Love the photos of the Marvical Express... such a nice thing to do!::yes::

You have such a nice family!!! :goodvibes

Hi Marv! Nice I for one am happy that you keep us in suspense so loong. I've managed to move, stay way to long with relatives who had minimal internet and get moved into our own place while missing only one update :cool1:
