Hi there! You are flying through this TR! We really enjoyed Yak and Yeti! Looks like a fun DIS meet. 6 times on EE - ugh! Last trip DD and DH rode it three times - I did two and that was enough for me.

Glad to see I wasn't too many updates behind!

I did drool a wee bit on my keyboard with the fried wontons. It was bringing back memories of eating them on my New Years trip. Yummy!!!

Love that there is a chair sleeper in the one bedrooms at OKW now! Good for people that end up in the doghouse or kicked out for excessive snoring.

I made sure I brushed my teeth before heading out the door.

Wow, you don't do that for just anyone.

I decided to see if I could find a spot closer to the entrance……..and the next thing I know, we are heading towards the exit.

Alison and Stitch found out they were both school teachers, and of course there was a lot of talk about some of you who are reading along with my TR……..and yes it was all good (mostly).

Either that or I didn’t want Stitch to think I was one of those DISboard dorks who takes so many food pictures.

I'm sure she was well-versed in DISboard dorks already.

And of course as everyone knows, if you don’t get a picture it didn’t happen, so we had our waiter play photographer for us.

In the final 30 minutes before the park closed, they were able to ride Expedition Everest six times!!!

Hi Marv! I've had so much trouble getting on here, it's been crazy - either the DIS is busy when I try to catch up, and then last night I couldn't get online at all - I guess because we had high winds?

Looks like a fun start to your trip, with all the eating and shopping!

How fun you got to meet JenBear! Your meal looks delish and the group photo turned out great of all of you! It's great you got to meet up and have plans for something else....

Wow! EE 6 times! The lines must have been really short. That's great. I'm not sure my stomach could take that many.

It's nice to have a day of not going and doing all day, good for you. With all that you're about to do and the heat....best to take it easy at first.

Mackenzie has informed me we need to have one day where we do nothing but sleep in, lounge around, swim at the pool and go to DTD to eat. All this and she's only 12! She's a smart cookie!

Yak and Yeti, still haven't eatin there. Not sure by the reviews if it's something I want to spend a dining credit on???
I know it's over a year away, but Mackie and I are already starting to plan out our dining.

We loved Y&Y! I only wish we had room for the fried won tons for dessert! Good job on planning your dining! You only have a few months until it's time to book your ADRS - you have to get that plan down!

I have had the CS and meh... Then again it was a down pour and the only place to try and stay dry was under an overhang.

Never really heard good things about the Y&Y CS! I guess you need to try the full dining experience sometime and decide for yourself!!

As a family we have met Glenn and his family, Jen and Stitch, and Judy and her whole family (blessedmom4). Andrew and I have met Tanya (mom3sonstt) and Poolrat Pat. Jonathan and I met Lisa and her daughter Megan (mommy2mrb), Michelle and her family (lovethattink), Crissy (smileycrissy), Magdalene (flossbolna) and Katharina (nodnol), Rosie and her co-workers Dan and Carol. I really hope I didn't leave anyone out!

Still have quite a few I am looking forward to meeting in the future!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately! It has been a very busy few weeks! First, last Monday was a monumental birthday for someone! Not mentioning any names, but HER parents called to tell me they wanted to come over last Sunday and surprise HER with a celebration. So, since it was supposed to be a surprise, it was up to me and the boys to get everything cleaned up and ready for their arrival......without her catching on. (well, as much as you can get help from teenage boys...) We did manage to pull it all off. I had hoped to post some pictures, but I used my new little digital camera and somewhere in all the cleaning up.......I'm not sure where the cable to download the pictures to the computer has gotten to........

In other family news, Drew has moved up from the JV soccer team at his HS to the Varsity in the past couple of weeks. That means more soccer games and later game times. This past week it was soccer game Monday night, Scouts Tuesday night, Soccer again Wednesday night, and then getting everything ready for this weekend when the soccer team participated in a tournament out of town!!!

It has been a very busy and tiring few weeks, even without all the extra overtime at work with the big project I'm working on! I feel like I haven't had much sleep at all the past few weeks, and especially this weekend. But still, every bit of it was worth it!

I guess the good news for the family is that it is spring break for Drew and Alison, so they can get caught up on some rest. Sadly, not spring break for me at work.........

Hope to be back here soon posting some more updates!!!

Okay, all caught up! Happy Birthday to Alli! Jim hits the "big one" on Tuesday - I am having the family over on Easter to surprise him, too! I almost spilled the beans when I talked about "all the other kids" in addition to our grandchildren, who he IS expecting. He probably figured it out.

Well, it looks like you are off to a pretty normal Marv and company trip - whatever normall is. Marv gets up. Boys get up. Boys and Marv leave for breakfast. Alli gets up. Everyone gets to the park for - Oh yeah! that's what is different - you missed RD! Nice that you can just relax and enjoy the moment when you know you will be back more often!
