We've always been morning people and then back to the resort for swimming and dinner. This trip we are going to go for an evening. Are there any great kids rides that are just a lot more fun at night? Any rides that have great lights or anything like that? Thanks in advance for any answers!

In addition to Dumbo, and Big Thunder... PS I couldn't agree more... I really like the Tea Cups at night. Honestly I just like the whole park at night... it just feels more magical.

I've ridden Splash about 25-30 times..Never before last trip did I ride it at night....WoW What an awesome difference...BTMRR as well for sure, Also the JC, that was a truly unique experience in the dark as well.....I'd say definitely better if that's possible.

If you time it just right and with luck on your side there is no more special and exhilarating Disney experience than riding BTMRR while the fireworks are going pixiedust:

We had it happen unexpectedly in January - tried to time it in June, but we were off by just a couple of minutes!

2 more in MK - Jungle Cruise and the Carousel

Along with those mentioned - although they might not all be kid's rides and are in other parks
Expedition Everest
Test Track
Tower of Terror

We like these rides at night:

Epcot: Test Track.
MK: Big Thunder has some nice views of the Castle and fireworks if you can time it right.
AK: Loved the Safari at night.

In two months I am going to have my first MK nighttime experience in many years. I was thinking Jungle Cruise and HM would be good at night as well. But curious if anyone else thinks differently

Those are great at night! Well, HM is all indoors, but something about it at night seems spookier! JC is very cool at night as well.

MK: Totally agree with BTMRR at night, it makes it a much better ride. We got lucky to ride once with the fireworks going.

AK: Everest. Love it during the day, even better at night. Primevil Whirl, kids love it.... I call it Primevil Hurl. It is more fun at night

EPCOT: Test Track, seems even faster at night.

DS: Tower of Terror, even better at night.

In general, I like the parks even more at night. The lighting and atmosphere is so enjoyable at night.

This is my family's go to night rides list:
MK- Jungle Cruise, BTMR
HS- ToT
AK- EE
EPCOT- TT

Climbing Swiss Family Treehouse at night provides an amazing view of the park lit up at night.

Expedition Everest does the same thing for AK.

Dumbo is spectacular at night in our opinion. We much prefer it at night, instead of during the day. It is usually a must do during our trip to catch it at least once at night. Also, it is often walk on at night, but be aware that the kids play area is often, if not usually, closed- so if that is important to your kids, you want to catch it at least once during daylight hours.
