Should I still buy a subscription to RM? I'm starting to wonder if the character sightings will mess up our touring plans, since my kids will want to go get autographs and photos.

Well you have a couple options - schedule fewer rides in your day and/or set walking speed to "slow" to accomodate for this, ooorrr worse comes to worst, you miss an attraction, you just skip to the next one on your list to keep yourself on track and find time to do the one(s) you missed later!

I would say it is still worth it. We have used it before and stuff has happened that completely messed it up (trip to ER with dislocated elbow) but all in all it was still worth it. Unless it has changed since I used it last the plan will bold items that really need to be done at a certain time so it's pretty flexible. Or like the last poster said, just skip an attraction and catch back up.

Of course I really, really hate the standing around saying "what you wanna do, I dunno, what you wanna do" so Ridemax is worth the price to me just to avoid that.

Great! I think I'll still get it then. Does it take a ton of time messing with it to find an itinerary you like?

I took the time to read their tips that come with the program, and then I made trip plans for four and a half days and it only took me an hour or so to get it right!

It takes me a while to decide what I want to do what day. Running the itinerary, even a couple of times, doesn't take long at all. Also it gives me an idea of what is resonable to get done in the time I have.
