I just got home from a trip that included one day at Disneyland. There was a CD I was going to purchase and then forgot to get it. The CD is all the music of the rides and includes the music for the Remember fireworks display.

Can anyone tell me the proper name of this CD?

Thanks a bunch

Hmmm. I have a 2-CD set at home which I purchased a year ago, and I will have to look for the exact name. I thought you must be talking about that. But I cannot find it on the Internet. The closest I found was this:

http://disney.go.com/disneyrecords/50th/ "Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth"

Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks for your help. I think it is the two disc set that I want although I don't remember it being two discs because it wasn't expensive enough to be two discs - lol. I think it might be Disneyland Resort: Remember the Moments.

Maybe someone else knows. Thanks for input, I want to start getting some Disney Music CD's.

I am getting my sons in the mood for our Spring Break trip and was able to check out Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth at our local library. It was only one disk.... of course I was bad and burned a copy of the cd & loaded it onto the boys MP3's for the plane ride....

Check the library....

Great idea, I'll see what my library has - thanks.

OK, I did some research and here is what I found out.

The 2-CD set (which I got at DL in 2005) is called "Happiest Homecoming on Earth". At one point you could buy it outside DLR (see www.laughingplacestore.com/Product-5929.asp?r=n20050923) but apparently you no longer can do this. From what I can tell it is still available at DLR (and maybe Disney stores).

They also have released a single CD set which is a smaller version of the above. It is called "Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth". You can read about it and buy it here: www.disneymouselinks.com/reviews.asp?isbn=B00092ZLKI

One of the things missing on the single set is the lengthy sound track from the Remember Dreams Come True fireworks, which is very good and one of my favorite tracks. Another favorite from the 2-CD set which I like is the Soarin Over California track. This is not on the single CD set either.

This website seems to confirm the above: www.geocities.co.jp/MusicStar/2373/marxnews.htm

According to The Disneyland Report, Grammy Award winner LeAnn Rimes was chosen to sing "Remember When," Disneyland's anthem song for its upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration that kicks-off May 5. The original song was composed and produced by Richard Marx and will be featured as part of the new "Remember ... Dreams Come True" fireworks spectacular presented throughout the 18-month "Happiest Homecoming on Earth" celebration at Disneyland. The song will also be featured in other advertising and marketing efforts during the celebration. "Remember When" will also be a highlight on "The Official Album of the Disneyland Resort: The Happiest Homecoming on Earth," a Park-exclusive 2-CD collection of Disneyland's greatest hits. By the way, the one-disc national version will also be released May 3 simultaneously and will be known as "Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth."
If you have a chance to get the 2-CD set, I would recommend it.

Of you can find Mystic Path's signature and she has a link to a various of musics from Disneyland.

Thanks for all the research on my behalf.

I think I will try and get the 2 disc set. It sounds like what I want.

I am also going to visit the link through Mystic Path's signature and find other music.

When I remembered that I had not bought the CD my son said 'your friends on Disboards will help' and he was right. He is 26 and gets tired of all my talk of Disboards everytime we are planning a trip.
