Ride height requirements

O I know WDW is very strict with children and height requirements, how is US/IOA in general, anyone have kiddos slightly under the requirement make it onto rides, specifically the 48" and up rides?

Very, very strict. In fact since the rides at Universal are generally more intense than the ones at WDW, they are probably more strict. Height restrictions are there for a child's safety. If a too small kid gets on and gets hurt, parents can sue. No way is Universal going to take a chance of that. I've seen kids measured at the beginning of the line, then measured again by a different CM just prior to boarding. Even if they could make it past the first CM, the second CM should catch them.

We found Universal MORE strict then WDW.Understandable too, the rides over at Universal are pretty intense.My DD was measured 2 times on each ride.On one of them she was measured 3 ( 2 different Cms at the loading area)

I forget, does Universal have the wristbands so your child doesn't have to be measured each time?

Like Disney, it does not. Wristband systems are easily defeated and therefore abused.
