Ride height checking??

At DLR they are trying an new height measuring system called Goofy's Magic Measure which uses a new system:

Goofy’s Magic Measure
The Disneyland Resort is currently testing a new height check system that uses ultrasonic soundwaves to standardize the way in which Guests are measured for height-restricted attractions. After being measured at a central location, Guests receive a color-coded wristband that indicates which attractions they are eligible to ride. In addition to having the potential to be an effective safety measure, this high-tech tool, when used in combination with coded Park maps, could help visitors to our properties plan their time more effectively.

I saw it at Christmas 2003 and assume it will be seen soon at WDW.

We love Disney's height requirements! My daughter is tall enough to ride Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Tower of Terror really anything she wanted to ride. We have season passes to Cedar Point this summer and Ohio must have some extreme height requirements, she's not tall enough for even one of the big coasters, she just keeps asking.... can't we just go back to Disney World?
