Do rides often open back up before their scheduled re-open date??

I just noticed at Ariel's ride is going to be closed while we're there and my girls have SO been looking forward to it (ok, so have I). We'll be at the park on the tail end of the scheduled refurbishment period... I'm wondering if it's in worth my crossing my fingers that they might finish up early.

No not usually. If anything they are often delayed
