Ride closures in Jan

Hi

Does anyone know what rides normally close for rehab in Jan? Am planning a trip Jan21-21 and trying to work out what may be closed, am assuming the water rides are most likely, but anything else?

Early January will usually see Haunted Mansion (for about a week and a half) close to have the HMH overlay removed. Once it comes back up, Small World usually closes to have it's holiday overlay removed.

I would expect IASW to close on January 20 for overlay removal. This is simply a prediction based on past practice; there is no official January refurb list yet.

Grizzly ended up having a late refurb this year, but January is the more traditional time, so I agree that would be a likely one as well.

Also, based on what's been going on the past couple years and knowing that the 60th anniversary is coming up, it wouldn't surprise me to see at least a couple of rides in each park down at that time.

Thanks for all the reply's, lots to consider, am prepared for lots of downtime, just hope that its not all the headliners at one time....guess its a downside of going in Jan

BTW whats the av temp in Jan in Socal? i'm from uk so used to freezing temps- is it as bad as that in jan>??
