Hi all,

After your useful help on eating I am coming for help again (just a few times :) ).

We are going to be at Disney for 2 days and a bit (arriving early afternoon 28th and leaving first thing 31st this month). Obviously I know we are not there long enough to take in everything. Hence asking for your combined advice.
We don't do big coasters and have a 2 year old. I'm hoping she will enjoy the character interactions - she loves most things Disney. Due to health issues I have to pace myself to avoid becoming too tired.

Which rides and attractions would you recommend we aim to definitely do? (I haven't yet checked out what is closed)

IASW obviously and PP, Pinocchio?, Snow White?
POTC - is it okay to take a young child on
Scheduled character meets
Dream Parade and Candlabration
Animagique

What else??

Thanks in advance,
Renate

Off the top of my head - Mickeys Winter Wonderland show in Frontierland (you have to see this - its amazing)

Teacups, Carousel, Dumbo in Fantasyland - possibly Pinocchio too (both Pinocchio and Snow White are dark rides - my DD is now 7 and still will not go on Snow White again, but she's fine with Pinocchio).

Buzz Lazer Blast in Discoveryland - great fun for all ages

And in the Studios - Cars, Flying Carpets, and of course Stitch Live - another amazing show :goodvibes

if you are looking for character interaction then i would go for a character meal. there is either cafe mickey or a buffet in the lucky nugget. both are highly reccomended. my dd was 22 months our last trip and loved potc although i had my eyes closed on the drops she was screaming weeeeeeee lol.

if you have emh make the most of these. this was the best part of my day in october

ditto!

I can imagine that a 2 year would love Stitch Live, great fun, and will give you a break from walking round :thumbsup2

Re POTC-there are a couple of small 'drops' - I hate coasters but could just about cope with them :rotfl: , but depends on your lo.

Would ditto what the others have said about Dumbo, IASW, Buzz, Peter Pan and Pinocchio, all good family favourites. The railroad and boats will be fun, as well as the Storybook ride (can't remember it's exact name :scratchin) And the carousel of course :goodvibes

Also we found the character meets in the Studio Park weren't as busy, although hopefully the MK won't be too busy when you are there.

Finally don't forget the character express train-we don't ever 'plan it in' like we do with the parades, but it's great and am sure your lo will enjoy it, especially the fun music that accompanies it.

Don't worry about not fitting everything in - just gives you an excuse to go back again ;) :goodvibes

Have a great trip :wave2:

If you're planning on doing a character meal I'd choose Lucky Nugget as under 3's are free at buffet meals. :thumbsup2
