Riddling today?

Yes - riddling today. The hostilities have begun and there are American men and women in harm's way in the Kuwaiti dessert. CNN, or some other news source, will be watched in millions of US homes today as we hope and pray for a quick resolution.

There are worries beyond counting.

I guess I'm choosing to spend some time this morning with friends and to enjoy, in the midst of this worry, their company.

I'm hoping that this thing will be over quickly and that the loss of life will be minimal. I know that lives WILL be lost - this is war and that is what war does.

I'm hoping that the aftermath of this war is, somehow, peace. There is no other morally correct reason to wage war other than to deliver peace.

I'd ask my riddle friends to pause for a moment this morning and join me, in whatever way you feel comfortable with, in hoping that this war ends quickly and that the path we have set ourselves upon delivers peace.

Thank you for deciding to do the riddle this morning, Bernie. I was not sure if we would have one today or not. I had a LOT of trouble sleeping last night, and the Fox news channel was on all night. I hope all the riddlers are fine this morning and that their loved ones who might be in the middle East are as well.

I have a girlfriend who is trying to talk me out of going to WDW as scheduled. She doesn't seem to think it will be safe. I am still going! I refuse to live my life in fear.....I will feel safe there. DH & I discussed it last night & we both feel like we need to go on as planned. What do you guys think..........would you go?
