Morning Buddies!

Going to be a CRAZY day between Ash Wednesday and the Great American Weigh-In (glad I resisted those 890 calorie cinnamon rolls last night!) but wanted to drop by and check on life in riddleland (maybe we should post this as an imagineering suggestion? RIDDLELAND...we already KNOW the costumes the CAST would wear there!).

I'll ponder the path of today's riddle, and will check in as I can!

Good Luck at the doctor's visit Diane....I'm sure it will mean a lot to your Dad to have you there to support him. I'll keep you and all your family specially in my thoughts.

Diane, good thoughts for you and your family today. I hope it all turns out well.

I hate hearing tragic news about children and auto accidents. It is a parents worst nightmare.

But on a better note, I dragged DH to the eye exam last night, he is so vain, he has bifocals, but "doesn't need them", doc informs him, your distance vision is a lot worse, wear these full time. The easiest thing was I went in first and he got his frames picked out, the girl did all the pricing and he was "thinking about it". He goes in to the room, and I wrote the check to pay the over and above the insurance amount for them. WHen he comes out with his script, she plugs in the numbers and he is done. So of course he has to complain that he was only getting a quote, and he could get them another time, blah, blah, blah......

My weather bug says 55 right now, high of 65. You'd think it was still winter. I hate the cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to get coffee and put on my pants before posting pants, I can use them to find my way today.

Diane, I saw that score last night and said to DH, "Oh no, I'll hear about that today." We are O's fans here. I think they did win 4 games before that one. Just the sound of the baseball announcer on the radio makes it feel (or sound) like spring.

Also, Diane, will keep you and your DF and DSM in my thoughts and prayers today.

LTM, today is my usual WW weigh in day. I hope there won't be a crowd. I doubt it though because this is the first day in our new meeting location and I don't think the weigh in has been very well advertised around here.

I have 2 umbrellas in my car. Too bad I let DD drive to school today and have DH's car and NO umbrellas. I may go by the school and get one.

Stephanie, every time I hear about one of those accidents with teenagers involved, I just feel heartsick. It is SOOO scary, especially now that DD is driving and has DS with her.

Yes, today is Ash Wednesday but I doubt I will get to church. DH works Wednesday nights so we have never gone to this service together and the kids don't want to go. We do usually try to go on Maundy Thursday just before Easter.

I sent a PM. Hope I am heading in the right direction.

Good morning everyone... I too have the gist of the riddle today but have not tumbled to the "right description" that is the "right" answer. Bumbling along directionless this morning.

Diane - I hope the doctors appointment goes okay. That must be very stressful.

Laura - I hope your throat feels better quickly. How about some nice soothing herbal tea?

My daughter does not really like to shower... but we have a weekday morning routine down. She just stumbles out of bed and hits the spray first thing. Now on weekends... that is another story entirely. I have to SAY something to her about getting a bath or shower in... sometimes repeatedly! She has always been very interested in the morning riddle... and likes to ponder on them. If she figures it out on her own... she sends Bernie a PM. She won't do it if I drop a hint to her though.

We have a high wind advisory alert flashing on my weather bug this morning. Cold arctic front sagging down from Canada and hitting our warmer pressure system.... sends wind at a high rate of speed heading in all DIRECTIONS.
