I just love The Matahari B&B! I found it most interesting that the first line of their text emphasized the difference of their religious beliefs from other Malyasian countries (Hindu Dharma versus Muslim). Damage control, I suspect....
Tea looks absolutely scrumptious! My son has recently been reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe series and he's most curious to taste Turkish Delight. Nice to see it on the tea service! We can get it here, but do you think DH would fall for a trip JUST to taste Turkist Delight????? Tee Hee.....
Morning all... just came back from driving Tom to the train....the roads are plowed here but the mounds of snow are incredible.. I think we had almost two feet.. Thank God for my Toyota Highlander and it's EMT feature.. gets me through anything..
Haven't a clue on the riddle.. but I am up and moving foward...I think we are suppose to get more snow again around noontime today.. I am just glad I was not trying to fly out to WDW yesterday or today... I feel sad for those whose children are on February vacation and were trying to get there for fun in the sun..
Hope everyone is doing ok.. and have a great Tuesday.. If anyone wants to give me a hint this morning, I always appreciate it..
I would definately go to the Matahari B&B!! I am SOOOO tired of winter! We are having a heat wave here though. It is already near 30 degrees, but very windy.
Gina, my kids loved the Lion, witch and wardrobe when they were growing up too.
Me, too, Diane. Sick of winter is a MILD way of putting it.
Anytime you want to hop on a flight to Bali, count me in......just don't expect me to come back any time soon.....I think I'm headed for the simple life.......
Good morning friends...going to have to spend a little more time with the riddle in between shoveling 2 feet of snow. We kept up with our driveway and that of an elderly neighbor but after the plow went by we have some damage control to do at the end of each driveway.
Every time I think about the kind of snow storm you folks had, I gasp at what will happen at our new place when we get that kind of snow. Our driveway is 800 feet long out there!!! It is also in the open, so the wind just whips over it! No drifts this year, but I doubt we have had more than 14 inches total this winter!
Hiya, Amid! We had the same damage control yesterday afternoon. I had a good laugh, though. When my DH was younger, he would yell at the plow guys when they plowed in the driveway. Really howl!
Yesterday, he just looked at me wearily and said....."Damn, I don't even have the energy to yell at them anymore....."
I just howled.
I know, I know....you had to be there!
Good luck with the clean up.....again....
They're forecasting torrential rain here by the end of the week. I suspect flooded cellars are the next horror......
Hiya, Marsha! Did you lose the nasty plowman??? Hope so....let us know......
