My DD, Erin, is off to Girl Scout camp this week - we're on winter break. They'll be staying in some very nice cabins just a short drive from a ski area here. They'll be spending the time skiing and doing some other winter activities! The cabin they stay in has all the imenities, including a toasty fireplace!

Good morning,
Just time for a brief visit today.....still waiting for the snow to really hit us here. A friend in south Jersey has had 25 inches - so far!
Had a great weekend my childhood friend and her daughter. We hadn't seen each other in 34 years!!!

They live in Miami so we decided to let them enjoy New England to the fullest and went sledding.....it was maybe 10 degrees o Saturday but fortunately the sun was out and there was little wind. Kids and adults had a great time! She had a digital camera so hopefully I'll be able to share some pictures.

We visited my mom.....who lives in the same house as when I was growing up so it was great for Shazy to see. It was also lots of fun to see our 2 DD's playing together just like we did. We had dinner at Dave & Busters and the kids played games.

Got to spend time together on Sunday as well and right not she's sitting at the airport hoping to get out today. SHe did have a 12:30 p.m flight but the plane she was to take was coming from Baltimore and they're still closed there. She was going to hang out and see if she could get on another flight.
