After hours of trying....I MADE IT IN!!!!

The snow's still coming down here, but the main roads seem pretty busy....not TOO cold (26 degrees) and supposedly, the snow will stop before noon......it should amount to about 6 inches....that's a lot for us city folk!!! I think it will be OK for Gail traveling-wise...

Work is annoying today, as I will be getting calls all day from staff who can't figure out if we should open for business today or not.....so ......i guess i'll be tied to the phone, but at LEAST should be able to check in more frequently here between calls!!


To all those under the weather (no pun intended) STAY IN!!! Not a day to go out and play!!! Rst up and maybe continue with the hot beverages we were drinling last night!

LOL, Baboo! Mostly what was really "cool" (actually COLD) was the weather! I did see some nice cabinet ideas and I wanted to compare quartz countertop companies, and I was able to do that. I also got to see the doors I ordered for the front entry!

Alright....it's been snowing here long enough. KNOCK IT OFF.....sheesh.....don't the snow gods know how much I hate the stuff.....though, you're right, LTM, it's quite beautiful and the traffic is moving. Our highways are clear, though my road out front is still unplowed......which is unusual....it's a pretty busy road....

That is BIZARRE!!!

I thought the find was cute. One of Katie's favorite meals is what she calls "A Face". I usually take a piece of meat - ham, bologna, turkey, whatever - and make a face on it. Sometimes pepperoni eyes, a cheese nose, a banana mouth, apple slice ears and cheesy hair. When she eats it, she'll usually start with the cheese hair and talk about how the little guy is going bald...then deaf....then mute......

Yesterday I started to make lasagna for the dinner before the dance that I said I would make for the kids . Just browned the meat with onion. I guess I will freeze it.

Gina, LOTS of folks misstype our last name! The most common one is Schlight. Folks seem to think the second C looks better as a G! Then again, you are in that part of the country that doesn't do German! When I lived in Utica NY, NO one could say or spell it!
