Diane-Have you been here since they opened the new terminal about a year ago? It still ain't great!!
I flew into Minneapolis for the Mall of America a few years ago & I didn't hate your airport. I did hate the Green Bay airpot that day. We spent 6 hours there A good friend is a NW pilot & DD & I were flying w/ his wife and DD as non-rev passengers. It took forever to get to Minneapolis flying stand by so we took a chance by flying to Green Bay first to try to get there....BIG mistake!!
On the bright side with both airports being NW hubs there are flights to & from Detroit & Minneapolis almost every hour.

Diane - he was injured at work a couple of weeks ago. Tore out the ligaments in his left leg and underwent surgery last week. He's at home now, recovering and doing great.

C'mon Gina - you can get this one!!!

Good morning everyone! It's a cold one here too! Apparently this has been a colder and snowier (is that a word??) winter for us than usual. I don't mind though because at least we didn't dip into the temps well below zero! My down coat never made it out this year! But stay warm everyone!

Laura, if the 26th is okay for most, I will make both the YaYa and this meet work. I am hoping that the strike that may occur then will not affect that weekend for time off. If that's the case I can drive down on Friday to see some YaYas and then on Saturday head up to CP. It's be a long weekend but it'd work

It does sound like a lot of meets in that area at one time! I am still hoping for the 26th, since I am quite sure I can't do anything in August. On the other hand....Since I have no idea when the house will be ready, it is hard for me to make too many plans ahead for this year!

Off to get ready for work, I will think about this one some more and venture a guess if it comes to mind.

John, I saw your comment both here and there... boy you get your shots in when you can, don't you? So I guess I'd have to say in general there... and I don't think I am the fastest driver on the DIS! Surely someone must drive faster than I do. just because I can travel 270 miles in just about 3 hours and 380 in a hair over 5 does NOT mean I drive fast

Diane, you ought to hear the list of meets in this are from now until July. I think I have 6 confirmed and a few more in the works! We like to keep busy here I guess!!

Marsha enjoy that warm weather there... I mean that cold weather there I just love it when I don't have to wear my down coat!

Just waiting to see how the riddlecon dates all sort out. Looking forward to a weekend of playing with the great group of people that you all are!

Well, we are not bitter cold like you folks seem to be suffering - but we got a fair amount of snow yesterday - and more expected today before it changes to freezing rain (not good).

I am expecting a "slippery" drive in to work.

I have absolutely no clue on today's riddle. I see the clue (always like the Moody Blues!) but it went sailing right past me today.

It's probably just as well.... I think I may need SNOWPANTS rather than SMARTYPANTS today!

Where's Gina? I haven't seen her and I don't think she voted on the Riddlecon thread.

I am so excitied about Riddlecon. We can go either of the top 2 weekends. If the kids end up with camp or something, they can just stay home and miss all the fun. Maybe we need to get T-shirts or buttons or something to identify ourselves. Or maybe we won't want people to know who we are. I know -- Smarty Pants for everyone.

Cold here too today. But at least no snow or ice.

Well, my first guess was "very close" so I have some thinking to do.
