I don't have the suitcases packed yet, but everything is laid out in one of the extra bedrooms waiting to be packed. Yes, I DID put the APs in already. A couple years ago, we forgot to take them out of the safe, and thought about it half way to the airport, so had to turn back!

It sounds like it is a bit chilly in Florida this week. My recently widowed friend is down there with her adut kids now, waiting for us to arrive tomorrow. She called last night to tell me to bring an extra sweatshirt along!

We have the taxi ordered for 5 AM tomorrow morning, so I wont be able to check in here before we leave. DH and I decided we really NEED this vacation! I hope when we get home, the house is all closed in and able to be locked and heated!

I have a request today. My dearest bud, Snowwark, is having surgery today to remove her parathyroid. It should be routine, quick and easy. But I can't stop thinking about it and worrying. Kim has asked everyone to throw some pixie dust her way. I am backing up a truckload for her.
